Re: Londen
'nearby London' could be anywhere! If you could say specifically which area, it would be easier to suggest places.
I know for a fact that Southall and Green Street are a killer to get to via public transport if you are too far out.
And what is best for the train?
Because I’ll have to go from Londen to Brighton. How much will that cost?

There's a pebble beach in Brighton...if you want a sandy beach you'll have to go Southampton.
In Guildford
Guildford Castle and a museum near it...
The church near Surrey University (can't recall the name)
And lots of beautiful countryside....
There's two shopping mall ...and third is self contained...
In Cobham (near guildford) there's a seventeenth century's park called Painshill Park.
There's another town called Woking near guildford with Britain's first custom built mosque and plenty of halal food places to eat and a small but complete shopping centre....

Aye, I know, but its closer than Green Street!

I know you were, and I was talking about the comparison between getting to Southall or Green Street from Guilford. Southall is still closer to where she will be staying even though it is an hour's drive away.
Re: Londen
^ oh yeah much closer ... it takes about 3 and half hours to get to East London my be quicker if no traffic.
