It is a combination question (as opposed to permutation which requires order) but that's how it is supposed to be

Ok the answer is .......................... 45.

The only two things to remember which make it really easy is:
1) Everyone will shake hands with everyone but only once
2) There'll be no repetition of handshakes b/w the same person.

So Mr. 1 starts handshaking to 9 ppl.
But when Mr. 2 start, he'll handshake with 8 ppl cuz 1&2 are already done.
Then Mr. 3 starts to handshake and will do it with 7 ppl cuz he's done with 1&2 both.
And so on till No. 10.
So in simple calculation,
1 handshakes 9 times, 2 goes 8 times, 3 goes 7 times, 4 goes 6 times, 5 goes 5 times, 6 goes 4 times, 7 goes 3, 8 goes 2, 9 goes 1, 10 goes 0.

So adding all # of times=9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1+0=45 :)

Every one should be able to solve this one. If six matchsticks are given to you, then what is the maximum number of equilateral triangles (triangle with all equal sides) you can make by connecting them?

Details and Assumptions:

1) You must connect the matchsticks only by their endpoints (not from the middle)
2) You can't break the matchsticks.
3) All of the matchsticks are of same size.

Take match sticks out make them stand up in soft ground.
Or take some aata goondha hua. Make one of your triangle sand up.
You will see the solution.

That is correct and here is the visual.

Next should be easier for anyone who understood MQ’s Logic quiz.

Shown above are four men buried up to their necks in the ground. They cannot move, so they can only look forward. Between A and B is a brick wall which cannot be seen through. They all know that between them they are wearing four hats–two black and two white–but they do not know what color they are wearing. Each of them know where the other three men are buried.

In order to avoid being shot, one of them must call out to the executioner the color of their hat. If they get it wrong, everyone will be shot. They are not allowed to talk to each other and have 10 minutes to fathom it out.

After one minute, one of them calls out.

Question: Which one of them calls out?

Why is he 100% certain of the color of his hat?

Note: This is not a trick question. There are no outside influences nor other ways of communicating. They cannot move and are buried in a straight line; A & B can only see their respective sides of the wall, C can see B, and D can see B & C.

D will answer because he will see what B and C are topped with and he'll tilt his head to drop his hat and will know his hat's color as well as A's.

D probably because they are like black white black white..so B is white then C is black so D is white..as D is able to see both C & B…just guessing…:confused:
