Re: Logic Quiz
Alright so everyone who said that they can break the pills in half and take each half … they got the right answer.
Now the next one.
A man is lost in a forest and he needs to get out of it. While struggling to find the way out of the forest to the city, he reached a point where he saw two pathways. One path leads to the city and the other one leads back into the forest. Which one is which, he doesn’t know. Fortunately, there are two sisters, who live in their individual huts. Regardless of the position of huts, one sister is always telss a lie and the other one always speaks the truth. Again, which one is the liar and which one tells the truth is unknown to the man. Now the guy has only 1 opportunity to ask 1 question to 1 sister ONLY. What one question can he ask from the sister which will tell him the right path to the city.
Answers to few assumptions that you guys might have
I can’t think of any other assumptions but let me know if you guys need more clarifications

Re: Logic Quiz
so he'll be asking a different question to each sis?
Re: Logic Quiz
so he'll be asking a different question to each sis?
No ... just one questoin to one sister of his choice. and he doesn't know which one speaks the truth and which one tells a lie. So from his perspective, he would have to ask ONE question to a random sister. So everything comes down to his question, how he put it so that it doesn't matter to whom this quesiton is being asked = BIGGEST HINT
Re: Logic Quiz
Well the inefficient way out is that he asks the route to the city, if the sister lies he'll be back to the forest but then knows that the other one would lead to the city.
And if the sister tells the truth, he'll be end up in the city.

then why would he ask the quesiton to sister? he can just take any route, the worst case he will get back into the forest and when he comes back from there he would know which path he took last time ? :p

Re: Logic Quiz
i have read different versions of this problem so i know the answer
he would ask the sisters - if I ask the other person if this route leads to the city would she reply yes?
so the scenarios are as follows.
assume lady x - truth and lady y - false
If the road does lead to the city
a. If the above question is asked to lady X , then she would say 'no' because Y is a liar and Y when asked would reply 'no'
b. If the above question is asked to lady Y , Y's answer would be 'no' because X speaks true and Y would lie that X would say 'no'
So if the lady(X or Y) says 'no' then the road does lead to the city.
If the road does not lead to the city
a. If the above question is asked to lady X , then she would say 'yes' because Y is a liar and Y when asked would reply 'yes'
b. If the above question is asked to lady Y , Y's answer would be 'yes' because X speaks true and Y would lie that X would say 'yes'
So if the lady(X or Y) says 'yes' then the road does not lead to the city.
Re: Logic Quiz
This is an old riddle so I already know the answer. He will ask either of the sister this question
''If i ask other sister which path takes you to the city, what would be her answer."
Explanation
If he was talking to the sister who speaks the truth, she'll let him know the path to the forest since the other sister is going to lie.
If he was talking to the sister who lies, she'll let him know the path to the forest as well because she's the one lying.
So in either case he'll take the opposite path which will lead him to the city.
