Locking bedroom doors

Do you lock your bedroom doors ?

Specially unmarried people. I never ever have locked my door ( as far as i can remember). And never thought about it, as I never needed it. Although I close the door sometimes in extreem weather conditions.

I am not saying it is a bad thing. Ofcourse you can lock it as it is your room. I was thinking why i never had to do this  like I used to play loud music, watch movies, play cards with friend and everything.

Keeping in view the trends set by Black Mamba and KrazyKhan I think I should close the doors from now on :o

Whatever happened to krazykhan and blackmamaba?

rehne do, behosh ho jaogee :stuck_out_tongue:

^ :rotfl:…

please keep cafe gossips out of this :p

nahh never need to lock em,

but whats this story about BM and KK? :hoonh:

Ok the title just reminded me of the first American Pie. No one locked their doors troughout the whole movie. I mean come on! Leave it to the professionals.

Re: Locking bedroom doors

Hmm Very intresting and educational topic,

In my house, its an unwritten rule, the kids CANNOT lock their room doors, sorry let me rephrase that the kids cannot even close their room doors.

As far as our Bedroom is concerned, the door is never locked but it is always closed, and nobody dares enter without knocking.

I know I sound like a Hitler, but a parent knows better, and I am a Parent.

Then only time when I close my bedroom door is at night before I go to sleep. I can't fall asleep with my door open.

Me too. I get scared for some reason if I sleep with the door open or even if I leave my closet doors open.

I never lock it though ... day or night.

hmm when i was younger id close my door and leave it slightly open (i was a wimp) and now i cant sleep with the door open.. it has to be fully closed and so do the cupboards..

i close my door everytime im in my room ie on the phone, fixing my hair, cleaning etc

Right. I don't lock it either, except when my sister is chasing me. In that case I lock myself in the room. I don't get scared because the door is open at night when I am sleeping, but it just feels odd when the door is open at night because just anyone can walk in. I don't know how to explain it :-s

Thanks guys for sharing your views.

Aejaz: That is very good and basic thing to teach children, not to enter without knocking if the door is closed.

married ppl shud keep the bedroom door locked, especially while sleeping....
u dont want to hear 'sorry'....

before marriage, ofcourse u shud keep ur door unlocked, but u have to keep it closed (werna AC thanda nahin karay gee)....
especially if u rely on ur mother to wake u up for fajr prayer.... :p
