And on the flip side, there are sadly those among thus who find their disapproval of us utterly intolerable. It’s all about the ‘image’ of Islam, you see…not about our security, our well being, our sovereignty, or (heavens forbid) our faith…‘image’…in the eyes of those whom some among us are desperate to catch the attention of.

Agreed …

There are two types of us who find the disapproval of others utterly intolerable:

The image slaves among us - are the postmodern Muslims bending backwards to make their masters happy
The nay sayers - are the ultra extreme Muslims who use any dissent to justify their hatred to others

I feel we should take onboard the fact that others are disapproving of us … but we should correct them and show them how Islam is the best way and the way that will bring humanity to a greater level of peace and in turn happiness. Any criticism they aim towards Islam should really be taken as a criticism on Muslims not living up to Islamic values.
