The post that I quoted of you was something along the lines of, “Secular is not neccessarily a nonmuslim. Secular has become such a dirty word.” What else do you want me to comprehend from that?
And Im very much at peace & happier now with a stronger belief that homosexuality is just another tool to spread filth & immorality in good people of the world.

I would exercise a huge warning in this subject …
First of all the rhetoric by the Western governments is not “We hate Islam and not Muslims” … Their rhetoric is “We are not at war with Islam, but with extremist ideologies”
The neocons, fascists and atheists disagree with this polemic and suggest:
“Islam (atheists: all religion) is inherently extreme in ideology therefore it should be blameworthy and not the peaceful Muslims”
However, Muslims respond to this in a number of ways:
A) “Islam is not to blame at all - look at foreign policy”
B) “Islam is not to blame - it is a combination of foreign policy and people hijacking name of Islam”
C) “Islam is to be blamed partially and needs to be reformed”
D) “Islam tells us to be that way - what the outsiders see as extreme is only justice for us”
I favour A) and dip in to B) every once in a while … I believe D) to be a deluded state and actually prefer the Muslims who profess to that to be educated for holding such dangerous ideas. C) Is a symptom of a post-modernist, liberal and secular mindset of Muslims which I believe is equally as dangerous for our souls. We will permanently resign ourselves to a class subdued and dominated and justice will not prevail.
The Muslims of D) are the Extremists and they sing the same tune as the neocons written in green above … however the difference is they believe it is justified and true faith and not extremism whereas the other party believe the extremist ideology should be considered true to the religion’s ideals. The extremists call themselves the people on the right path … the extremists from the opposite camp say - the extremist Muslims are more closely and honestly following Islam than any peaceful Muslim might be.
So from the title of this article we can take either:
This article seems to be attacking the deception of the fascists from the non-Muslim camp.

WRT, your posts with so many quotes, I still dont understand why you refer to ‘secular’ as a “dirty” word when saying, “Secular is not necessarily nonmuslims”.. Anyway forget it. I have lost interest as I have a short attention span.

If they had better/no opinion about before knowing it well.
If they had worst opinion about both(islam and muslims) before knowing it well.
Second case is more hopeful , they are half way through. They can be told more about islam.
First case, remove misconceptions they have.

This rhetoric is one which is basically saying that Muslims should change Islam - like everything else is being changed they want us to remove the sacrosanct status of our faith and subject it to revision. A revision that they are happy with … if we don’t then they will hate us …

And on the flip side, there are sadly those among thus who find their disapproval of us utterly intolerable. It’s all about the ‘image’ of Islam, you see…not about our security, our well being, our sovereignty, or (heavens forbid) our faith…‘image’…in the eyes of those whom some among us are desperate to catch the attention of.

The west is not a monolith. The liberals in the west would want a Muslim to Hindu or athiests to have the same rights as anyone else. EVERYWHERE. They wouldn’t tolerate bigotry towards ANY minority.
As long as these conditions are met, they don’t care who a Hindu or a Muslim or a Buddhist worships. They don’t care if one doesn’t worship anybody.

There are two types of us who find the disapproval of others utterly intolerable:
The image slaves among us - are the postmodern Muslims bending backwards to make their masters happy
The nay sayers - are the ultra extreme Muslims who use any dissent to justify their hatred to others
I feel we should take onboard the fact that others are disapproving of us … but we should correct them and show them how Islam is the best way and the way that will bring humanity to a greater level of peace and in turn happiness. Any criticism they aim towards Islam should really be taken as a criticism on Muslims not living up to Islamic values.
