the movie was shown on youtube and i think youtube refused to take it off. what has this got to do with the u.s. government ? our pak government did ban youtube which i think was a good step but how many muslims around the globe are actually going to stop using youtube and for how long? obama/hilary condemned the video which i think was not necessary.

and why do more ? **it is a waste of time that we are giving this so much attention. **don’t we have better things to do ? nobody would have cared about the video if it wasn’t for the publicity it received due to the [violent] protests.

the alleged guy who made the video is an egyption and settled in the u.s. so he is an arab. from what i read, he is was a christian/anti islam (ofcourse!). Going by how minorities are treated in pakistan, i can see why he would have been so much against muslims.

i am tired of us blaming west for our problems. i think this mindset is one of the reasons what is holding us back from making progress. we are our worst enemies.

I don’t understand why everyone is after the US to officially apologize for the movie. The US had nothing to do with the movie!! Yes there is a Constitutional right to freedom of speech and some ignorant imbecile decided to exercise that right for the sole purpose of propagating hatred amongst the Muslims. Time and again Obama and Clinton have condemned the movie in the strongest terms possible. I don’t realize what exactly the Muslims want the US to do…it can’t go against its constitution. **I can go hire some actors and make a B rated movie about Jews and portray them to be manipulative, conniving back stabbers and there is absolutely nothing the US can do to me. **I don’t know why the concept of freedom of speech is so hard to comprehend.

Muslims all across the world seem to forget one small thing…the US, Israel, Jews, Christians don’t owe Muslims anything! Since the beginning of mankind, each nation and religion has sought to look out for its own interests. So why do we Muslims sit here pointing fingers at others and playing the victim card?! Why don’t we tell our leaders to come forward and condemn the movie? Where are all the Arab leaders? Where are all the Muslim presidents and prime ministers? Or are they too busy taking handouts from the US? We are the ones to be blamed for the position we have been placed in. The world laughs at us because of the way we have behaved! 1.2 billion of us yet there is no unity or discipline amongst us. All we do is fight and kill our own kind.

And what exactly will come of the US ‘banning’ the movie (whatever that means in this time and age). Will we be relieved that there is no one out there making a mockery out of our religion? Will we be satisfied that no one is ridiculing our Prophet (p.b.u.h) anymore? There will always be people doing such acts. Just because one movie got leaked doesn’t mean there aren’t others out there! When will we get out priorities straight and focus on things that will make us stronger, more educated and more unified.

Do you know the definition of hate crime? The movie didn’t cause actual harm to anyone. No one was hurt other than the fragile egos of our fellow Muslims.

People aren’t even aware of the legal definitions yet want to ban this movie just because they’re hurt. The behavior of Muslims across the globe has hurt Islam much more than the movie itself!

Are u a Muslim? Just to understand your statement!!
