Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

We should believe Abbasi as he is in drug business anyway. He knows better.

Court rejects Hanif Abbasi’s plea for bail in ephedrine case
29 August, 2014

RAWALPINDI:** A Control of Narcotics Substances (CNS) court on Thursday rejected bail petition of former MNA Hanif Abbasi in the ephedrine quota case.**

Abbasi’s counsel had submitted last Monday a fresh application under Section 256-K requesting the court to acquit his client. The counsel claimed that his client was innocent and that the case was fabricated and politically motivated.

He told that ANF has no substantial evidence against the politician, therefore the court may grant bail to his client in the case.

The court on Monday last deferred the indictment of the PML-N leader, his brother and five others till August 28 in the drug case. (ANF) prosecutor Shahid Abbasi requested the court to frame charges against the accused, saying that the defence was using delay tactics to avoid trial of the accused.

Special Judge Akhtar Bahadur, rejected the bail plea of Muhammad Hanif Abbasi and adjourned hearing the case till September 2. Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) had submitted the challan to the CNS court and declared Abbasi, his brother and five employees of Grey Pharmaceuticals as the accused. Earlier, the indictment was delayed due to the lawyers’ strike.

Abbasi is accused of misappropriating 500kg of the controlled chemical ephedrine, obtained in 2010, and was allegedly selling it to narcotics smugglers. The charge sheet also included the statements of two officials of Arafaat Traders, a Karachi-based medicine distribution company to whom Abbasi claimed to have supplied 11,000 ephedrine-containing tablets.

ANF had registered the case against the co-accused in June 2012. However, in November 2012, Abbasi obtained a bail from the LHC Rawalpindi Bench.

End.

Hanif Abbasi lost miserably to #IK](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=IK) from NA-56. He is known by the locals as #NeefaPodri](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=NeefaPodri) for the very reason that he is a drug dealer. The only reason this criminal is not behind bars is because of his close relationship with Shahbaz Sharif, who personally came to visit him after the 2013 election defeat.

Just to keep him and his politics afloat, Shahbaz has nominated this turd as vice president of rawalpindi metro bus project

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Coming back to the topic.

I don't understand, how on one hand, these people are negotiating with PTI, but on the other, they use parliament of all places to do all their obscene slandering and petty political point scoring. If they think parliament is the most suitable place to do all this, then don't even think about throwing a fit over what someone says or does in front of a charged up crowd.

Looks like Nawaz Sharif is one mindless user. It seems he likes to put Ch. Sarwar on the front line when things get heated up because of characters like Saad Rafique, but as soon as things get back to normal (thanks to his refreshingly diplomatic handling), he takes Ch. Sarwar off the scene and puts forward his usual motor mouth trolls. Why? It's largely because of people like Saad Rafique and Parvez Rasheed that things escalated so fast in the last few months. They really have no shame, they've been repeatedly and openly warned (to the point if being mocked) by PPP to control their self destructive acidic tongues, but nope, the arrogant oligarchs know no bounds.

Now that Aitzaz Ahsan has virtually diminished Ch. Nisar's long political career. I reckon he's in his mourning period, and we won't see or hear anything from him for a long time. Meanwhile, we have no one to contact about Karachi (high profile) target killings.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Yup. An indicted guy is made vp over 40 Billion Rs project (is he infected yet or its again differed? ) :k:

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

They have no answer to why families of over 100 victims (which included 17 dead) weren't allowed to file an FIR, a bloody FIR, against the culprits! But let's use parliament to gossip about someone's pet and issue a fatwa! I'm truly shocked! You wouldn't expect such mindlessly wayward chatter from grannies of this day and age. But take that as another reason to highlight how backward and behind the time these Nawaz Leaguers are. How can these politicians call themselves (or try to sell themselves) as people's representatives when their politics don't even represent the people? I'm disgusted. Despite the widespread calamity brought by the floods, water management was not the main issue of the session!

How many more sessions do they need to scream and shout that 'our version of democracy is great', when will they actually think about making that democracy deliver? How many joint parliament session we need to hear the same lame defence over and over again?

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

KSR looking helpless once again ranting about merit trial for PTI and PAT under Article 6. Accusing them of stirring a media trial of the govt.

EXCERPT:

Another bogus attempt to attack IK personally regarding his children and education and clearly showing signs how weak and desperate the gov’t has become in solving this political crisis.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Imran Khan's ego can only be fed through these topi Drama bs movements of his. How else would he remain relevant if not at the podium lapping up the applause from his deluded base. He should really stick to running hospitals, which he does well admittedly.

The country needs stability, not long marches. There is a war going on, there is major flooding everywhere, people are dying, but Imran has to be the center of attention.
Whats more pathetic are the people who support him. Why? He is supposed to be running KP, and isnt doing that. why have any hope that he will do any better as PM.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Most of the demands of IK regarding election reforms are good and which everyone across the board agrees with. Haters and fanboys alike, everyone likes it.

Govt has long time ago agreed with the reforms and IK should have focused on forming a multi party committee to supervise the reforms, may be headed by IK himself.

On top of that IK and TUQ also got a free and fair inquiry commitment about past rigging elections and model town incident. To ensure transparency they could have worked on modalities. This added achivement is just bonus and NS promised to resign if rigging is found.

Thats where the dharna should have ended on a high note which would have secured the future of the democracy without derailing it. It would have been a great outcome of the dharna and would have made IK a national hero.

But his ego comes in the way, he wants NS to resign because he has committed that to his people. Funny thing is he just wants PM to resign and not the govt, he is fine with someone else from PMLN to become PM , clearly shows his long lasting personal grudge against Nawaz. This one is personal and doesnt serve national interest and may undo all the good work. Now IK may not even get what he was offered before.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Well, those armed guards may panic not knowing what is being thrown and shoot the guy. Or stampede may happen as no one knows what is being thrown considering the history of attacks on public places in pakistan lately.

No one is listening to IK. Remittances up 7.14% in August :omg:

KARACHI: Amid calls to abandon official channels to remit money, overseas Pakistanis sent remittances amounting to $1.32 billion in August, up 7.14% from the same month of 2013-14.
As part of his ongoing protest in Islamabad that began in the first half of August, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had urged overseas Pakistanis to send money home via hundi, which is the illegal way of transferring currency across international borders.
But the year-on-year comparison of data shows the public has turned a deaf ear to Khan’s appeal to dodge official money transfer channels. According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Wednesday, Pakistanis based in foreign countries sent home $2.97 billion in the first two months of the current fiscal year, which translates into an increase of 12.61% on a yearly basis.
Inflows from Saudi Arabia have been the largest source of remittances so far in 2014-15. They amounted to $851.37 million in the first two months of the current fiscal year. They are up 16.21% from the same two months of 2013-14.

Treating your dog as a family member is considered a status symbol in Pakistan mostly done by rich and western wannabes.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

In Pakistan, status symbol (especially for political leadership of PMLN, PPP and their chailay-chamchay) is to rape helpless women, kill old men and pregnant women at point blank range using their ‘haddi eating’ police (as regularly happens in Punjab and recently happened at model town), take loan in billions and pay nothing, expect to get treated like king (when they are actually P*gs), appoint paid mentally handicap and slave servants as judges and police officers, appoint servants and slaves as bureaucrats or make them your slave and yes-man using threat or haddi, not to pay any amenities bills of your palaces (as happen for Raiwand and Lahore palaces, loot and plunder Pakistan as if it is your daddy’s left-over bank account, and obviously to treat Pakistanis as animals of burden ... and so on.

As for kissing, for status symbol (and also for survival) they reserve this deed for their masters’ ass in USA, Saudia, UK, and recently added India. As for dogs, they love them so much that they appoint them as masters of nation institutions and use them to bite the nation, loot and plunder.
