Lollywood sweetheart Meera has expressed interest in marrying Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, according to a Samaa TV report.
“Imran Khan is a very good looking man,” said the iconic Lollywood actress, while revealing that she would love to see Imran become the prime minister in ‘Naya Pakistan’.
“If he ever asked me to marry him, I would most definitely accept the offer,” said Meera, while speaking with reporters in Dubai.
Not only did she speak of marrying the PTI chief but also spoke of Imran’s possible wedding attire, suggesting he wear a sherwani by Riaz Ganji.
In a recent speech to his supporters in Islamabad, the PTI chief declared his intention to get married as soon as ‘Naya Pakistan’ comes into being.
Interestingly, the Lollywood star also went head to head with PTI chief Imran Khan in thegeneral elections of 2013. The actress ran against Imran on a National Assembly seat in Lahore on a ticket from a relatively unknown party formed by lawyers. The PTI chief ended up losing that seat, not to Meera, but to PML-N candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
wow, parhay likhay log admitting rumors and want to spread rumors without verifying.
How do you verify a statement that someone makes who has relatives that are army officers based in Rawalpindi, and this is what his relatives in the army told him. Do you hold a conversation with a lie detector in hand?

You simple don't spread around if you can't verify it, this job of spreading without verification belongs to mohallay ki beejamalo/khala.

Haha. That was brilliant.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
Imran threatens to take Sharif to court for lying on parliament's floor about the Chinese President's visit. If we were to throw people out of the parliament just for lying we would be left with nought.
Sorry but what was the initial reason for starting this march? Rigging in elections? Yes, that's right.

Is this a bad thing?
For some people "just lying" may not be an issue at all, they may not care for it all and might as well condone it. But that doesn't mean, everyone should develop an immunity to it and become passive spectators.
Mind explaining how the original reason for this march has been ignored?
Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
^no, it's not a bad thing...but rather foolish and hypocritical in a sense that just because someone is sitting *outside *the parliament doesn't give him the open leave to lie to people and the media.
Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
The idea that 'two wrongs make a right' is hardly a less hypocritical looking defence.
I don't know what the grievance here it is, no one said Imran has the open leave to lie now that Nawaz Sharif could be in hot water. Is this something that's evoking great sympathy for the latter? You don't necessarily need to to see it like that.
Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
Yeah no one said Imran has the open leave to lie but that's what he's been doing since the dharna...and then pointing finger at NS for the same act just to get into power.
"kal faislay ka din hai"
it's pretty straightforward and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to analyse the whole situation....perhaps one is better than the other at lying but at the end of the day both are guilty of the same crime.
two wrongs don't make a right but let the one who's without sin be the first to throw a stone at.
Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
What lies?
This whole get into power argument is getting quite boring and lame. Anyone who challenges the status quo is out there to get into power? Such extreme level of self pleasing cynicism and character assassination does no good to the people who genuinely want to secure a greater extension of their rights, and want the best to come these protests. Such political mudslinging and obsession with political rivalries or personalities criminally divert the attention from legitimate grievances that triggered this dharna and the causes that became part of these protests. Let's not trivialise thing for sake of personal political prejudice.
I guess it's just too much for people to look beyond politicians and talk about issues.
Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
By the way, if it makes anyone feel better, Nawaz League has already submitted a ghadari case against Imran and if I am not wrong, if found 'guilty', he'd be subjected to capital punishment. So nuttin' to worry about, Nawaz League has that covered.
