Live Updates of Azadi March

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Sorry. Accusation does not equal indictment. Anyone can accuse anyone and ask for resignation?

No justification. It is a crime. I am just saying that those police people would get the blame and heat instead of their officers.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Lost credibility for you because.... LOL. Yes press charges against him for smiling. He went to meet his army chief after being invited, not Indian army chief.

The government who until yesterday was boating about having massive in house support, command over parliament and public support calls in army chief to solve the crises. Of course he had to have a laugh at utter incompetency of that clown. But never thought his smile could hurt so many people's feelings.

Yes if IK has nothing to hide, he should step down not just for three but six months! It's an excellent idea, I really hope you do go ahead with your dharnas.

Every moral ground. He thinks the KPK elections were relatively fair and those who accused him for rigging didn't accept his challenge of complete vote audit and re-polling. You may want to ask this question to Mullah Fazlu or better, why isn't Nawaz Thug turning the table and asking for vote audit and re-polling in KPK.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

every media reporter that gets in head with stick starts sounding like qadri now.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

sure...appreciate you showing mirror to everyone and then forcing them to believe in your version...yahiee to malsa hai....you dont even want to listen to other side

bey hey happy to show mirror from my side.....instead of bad mouthing and calling names you shd have hosla to listen...i listen to you all day long

Imran wanted the rigging investigations.....govt made a stupid mistake by ignoring him and paid the price but now that govt has agreed 5 of 6 demands including opening 10 constituencies for rigging investigation, forming supreme court judicial commission for rigging, discussing electoral reforms, imran should have declared victory and focused on implementing those reforms and getting rigging proved in court

but imran suddenly got stuck on demand that PM reisgn karo...obviously he had a different agenda for proposing a demand which will be impossible for govt to fulfill...na no man ka tail ho ga, na radha naachay gee

and other demand that PM shd resign or go to vacation for 30 days...really? does it make any sense...forget constitution...think from practical perspective...i heard that speech from Imran....by his own admission, for those 30 days, PMLN will still be majority in parliament,,,,all ministers will be in power, next PM for 30 days will be from PMLN who will be taking all instructions from nawaz.....so what difference will it make? why not negotiate with nawaz directly? had haai yaar

if rigging has taaken place, lets go to supreme court judicial commission....mubhsar luqman show cannot decide it....if PTI has proof, present to the commission

if rigging is proved, great, bismillah...lest have new elections under new electoral reforms with army as gaurantor

if not, Imran jee go back to KPK and deliver and come back in 3 years...if you want nawaz to resign, come in Parliament and bring vote of no confidence..but no sir, we cannot afford setting a precedent of getting PM resignation by blocking capital for few weeks....tomorrow jaamat islami or fazul will come and block the capital that sharaiat should be implemented...

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

but.. but.. but... that would delay his shadi. :(

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

democracy is alive and well in Pakistan, just turned on any channel but geo.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

I wish he did.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Oh that he certainly does.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

media are longing for days under mushraf. they are saying this over and over. i like to welcome them to this new democracy.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Well if we recall legitimate concerns were made 14 months prior. None of the steps that were taken for auditing of vote verification happened. Gov't is equally responsible for bringing the current crisis to where it is, had they taken steps to alleviate the grievances of concerned parties earlier things may have been different. Lets not forget, the whole electoral fraud allegation was not just from one party but EVERY party. So why did the established parties pedal on the back foot just few days after election and everything was kosher.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Zardari's government should've done the same thing when these murderers led long march for Justice Ifti.

This foolish despot takes his crusade back in 2009 after receiving one call from COAS, but Imran's meeting with COAS becomes a matter of great haa hayeee.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Government is responsible. True. Does that justify criminal activities? No.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

For the BS from IK about demonstrating outside 10 Downing Street…

By law you must tell the police in writing 6 days before a public march if you’re the organiser.

Tell the police the:

  • date and time of the march
  • route
  • the names and addresses of the organisers

The police have the power to:

  • limit or change the route of your march
  • set any other condition of your march

If you arrange a march at short notice, you must still tell the police as soon as you can.

The police can also:

  • change the location
  • limit how long a rally lasts
  • limit the amount of people who attend
  • stop a sit-down protest if it blocks road traffic or public walkways

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

From what I read on these forums, looks like Pakistan has the most pathetic and backward legal system. It's probably the only disgraced legal system in the world where the victim is asked to provide proper investigated and officially codified evidence to make a case. Otherwise it's a simple no. As police is job is to guard palaces of politicians, and tribunals, courts and other state department's job is serve Sharif family. No wonder the country's in this mess.

The anti rigging please rigging from PTI to Nawaz League and their supporters seems like an equivalent of rape victim asking for justice from Mullahs. In either case, the answer is simple no. Nope, it didn't happen. What proof do you have because no proof is serious enough.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

what laws are followed by attacking media?

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

If the government is responsible then why is your bashing so disproportionate?

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Because I hold IK to a higher moral standard. I am disappointed.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

You know when Obama was running back in '08, the then governor of his state Rod Blagojevich tried selling Obama's senate seat, he was found guilty, tried, and put in prison.

Here were talking about a WHOLE election where massive rigging took place and spineless gov't dragged its feet to do any investigation and now they talk about saving democracy to save their arse. What hypocrisy.

Failures of Govt.

  • Should have accepted demands and responsibility before protest start
  • Overreaction
  • Excessive use of force

Failures of PTI and PAT

  • Should not have proceeded to PM house without approval of administration
  • Women and Children should have been kept away

Failure of Nation

  • Fighting with each other!

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
