You obviously didn’t get rest of the post. Read this: the NS asked Chief to get involved as a mediator and sort out this crises. The army chief decided meet the other leaders to sort out the crises. Isn’t this how meditating works? What do you think army chief should’ve done instead?
Let’s not get all hysterical and pretend that IK went on to meet Nirandara Modi in India, not Pakistan’s army chief.

You ought to study Malcolm X. Absolutely fascinating character, given his immense potential and personal appeal, he could be described as a serious underachiever as far as bringing any legislative change improve the lives of African American is concerned. But he allowed the African Americans to think, question and challenge the system like no one else could do before him. And you cannot downplay the significance of that. But what makes him such a mythical figure is the fact his enduring legacy is that of a personal transformation. From a ghetto rebel, to a hardline radical speaker to a serious political figure, is indeed very inspiring. To me, his journey reflects the change society needed at the time, and the change it still needs. What really secures his legendary status in history is the simply fact he was never afraid to openly admit his mistakes and say yes, I've learned from them and I can explain why I was wrong. That's so wonderfully human.
Anyway, I can go and on. So I just wanted to drop some names of the book before I forget. So the ones I've read (or had to read):

The Autobiography of Malcolm X by Alex Haley
Malcolm X: A Real of Reinvention by Manning Marable

Just before IK announcing about meeting with COAS, someone tweeted that shah mahmood qureshi was meeting with musharraf.
I thought it was a false news but then it was broadcasted all over. And then IK met COAS.
I'm sure that must be the reason why Javed Hashmi backed down in the beginning. He is the man who doesnt negotiate with army but well, might is right here.

Whatever the outcome of this meeting maybe, the media agents (especially the punks belonging to the junk group) are running a very sly anti army campaign (old habits die hard?), are actually digging their own graves and generally making things harder. Political difference with PTI on thing, and maligning Pakistan army army another. Those who think they can blur the lines and can get away with it are mistaken.

Pakistan army never ever saw him as a threat, Despite all his criticism against Musharraf and WoT.
