With judicial commission report out on Lahore massacre, LHC ruling and the cowards Showbaz and Rana SanaUllah fleeing to China, the police have realized that if all this falls apart the pawns will be made the scapegoats.
Also, this is Islamabad we are talking about, and Army's 111th Infantry Brigade is also standing guard. Any illegal action by the police, will put them into motion.

Again I fail to understand why do people consider him 'power hungry'? He is trying to introduce reforms which would be mean ANYONE would be selected fairly and if people vote him in how is that wrong or how does that make him power hungry?

bhai sahib, no one is saying that imran's demands of electoral reforms are wrong...that would be an awesome achievement and when govt crumbled under pressure before dharna and agreed to all PTI core demands (open 10 constituencies for recount instead of 4, form a judicial commission for rigging, work with PTI lawmakers on electoral reforms and independent election commission), Payyaray khan sahib should have declared victory and told PMLN to seriously implement these conditions or he will march into Islamabad.
but khan sahib himself went on a different route by going for dhaarna and making PM resignation as his core demand...and then several mindless announcements civil disobedience, send money via hawala, 30 day resignation
do you know that PTI and PMLN are pretty much negotiated everything regarding electoral reforms, rigging investigation, independent election commission but the major breakdown is due to Khan sahib's core demand that PM resign kaaray...that is an unconstitutional demand and will set a very wrong precedent...every party especially religious parties who have motivated madrasas followers will think that by blocking Islamabad for 2-3 weeks they can get what they want...
now if supreme court judicial commission determines that rigging did take place even if it was not massive, So bismillah...bhot achiee baat hai. PMLN and Nawaz sharif will absolutely lose its credibility to rule and PM should resign and new elections should be held under new independent election commission with new electoral reforms...but now you will say that we don't trust supreme court either. theek hai janab!

Oo Bhai Sahib, he has been demanding to look into the matter for the past 18 months but the Govt has done jack **** about it. He did not go on a different route, he went on this route to have his voice heard. Meaning if such big party voices cannot be heard, then there are no chances of getting justice for poor people.
