Ok guys (specially die hard cricket lovers) I have setup SopCast for the following matches. Since both of the matches are on same channel currently WI vs NZ is on and once that match is over AUS vs SAF will start on schedule time on the same channel. Also some times it may show some highlights of different matches and some repeat of Ind vs Eng matches.

WI vs NZ

AUS vs SAF

The channel name on SopCast will appear as Cricket - Teaser From Gupshup.org

Here’s how to use SopCast

Download SopCast version 050.Clicke here to download directly.

Extract SopCast folder from the downloaded zip file to your desktop.

Go into the folder and click on SopCast.exe to start the program.

Once the program starts first click on Config tab and make sure the URL is as follow.
http://sop.sopcast.org/sop/broker_noauth

Than click Ok (don’t worry about user name passowrd, leave it as it is)

After clicking on Ok button, click the Channel tab on top and look for channel Cricket - Teaser From Gupshup.org**

Open your ports from 3900 to 3922

^ if you have firewall then configure your firewall, if you have router then configure ur router for opening ports.

Is there any other way i can change this...
cos sopcast just keeps buffering. how do i speed this up..

you can't "unbuffer" a buffered play, I blv, u got to live with that.

It is available since WI vs NZ is stoped due to rain thats why you can't see it. It will be on when Aus vs Saf starts.

Would it be a good idea to sticky this thread for the time being (or at least until during the length of matches)? There are lots of questions being asked on from how to install and run sopcast, to selecting appropriate channels.

While implementing it in this manner, this thread can be bumped up everytime on the day/night of the appropriate match.

On the other hand, the other option (besides the sticky) would be to copy and paste the first post of this thread and add it into the very first post of all the dedicated match thread(s), which would effectively result in members having less time to search around and shop for something which is already provided to them.
