You know the little thingie that is put on the ends of Tasma (shoelaces) that keeps the end straight so it can easy go thru the hole. Well, my thingie came off and now Tasma wont go inside the hole. This is an expensive pair of Mariano Campanile shoes, and I spent a bundle on them. What to do?
Suggestions will be appreciated. The goal here is to save the money. Thanks.
Some good suggestions there. Thanks guys. But in the meantime I took out the lace and used the good end to pass thru all eyes (I am a genius). But later I will try to see if anyone of your advises work.
FF ji, you are suggesting that I sucked on my Tasma? That’s silly. I would never do anything like that.
Madhanee, if you rub the top in a nice gentle manner, it will harden up (may take you a little longer than most because of wear and tear). Once it's all hard it should go in the hole easily.
As kids we would put water at the end of the shoelace.
we experienced the same problem as kids when we wore those white PT shoes that we would white wash everyday with cherry blossom. But those Bata kay Rs 99.0 paisa shoes were better I suppose because even when the plastic thingie came out and the end stuck out like a 'phool jharu' , the holes provided were always big enough which I suppose was a good thing in hindsight.
Is not! My candle cost close to 10 dollars. Your silly shoe laces are what? 2 dollars for 6 pairs? My candle is all flowery and pretty and I may not even find another one of the exact same kind. You can get shoe laces from anywhere, maybe even the 99 cent store. You're a mean man.
This was a shoe that is now making a comeback... with round head (like clown shoe) and rubber sole, came out at the time of Apollo 11. It was Bata's bestseller.
You’re kidding right? Just go to your local shoe store and ask for a shoelace repair kit.
Some of the kits are a little elaborate with more than 1,000 pieces and probably cost a bit more than you’d want to spend to repair a single shoelace. But some mini-kits have as few as 10 pieces and will only cost around US $4.95.
