^Peeling a tissue?! never heard that one before... I use a DSLR now for my makeup pictures and yes, the clarity is much better but at the same time it focuses on every little detail on the face, every hair follicle, every pore, hence the need to edit which I find annoying. The pictures I used to post with my regular Sony Cybershot weren't as HD but I never really had issues with lighting and never edited (didn't have an editor at the time). Usually what happened was the flash would be too bright, so I found that standing in a corner away from a light source then snapping would give me better lighting. Sometimes, I even closed all the lights and took pictures, this way the lighting would be just right.
^Thanks, I'm going to give your suggestion a try. Also, you should create a blog! You have the DSLR so the pictures would come out AH-MAZING!
Should I? Would people even look at it? =/ I was thinking of making a youtube channel and making tutorials but that requires a lot of time and effort, and a good video recorder which I don't have right now...but i'm planning on getting one soon, so let's see! maybe i'll create a blog if people were interested.
^YES YOU YOU SHOULD! You can start a youtube channel after but a blog which can go hand-in-hand with the channel! Pixiwoo, MissChevious, TiffanyD etc all do that as well. And I know so many people who would LOVE your blog and would definitely appreciate the HD pictures as well. :)
Okay..I have NEVER even opened imovie before, but I just did and made a 30 second picture video..thing. The music didn't even transition out, but this was just a test, it's actually pretty crappy. If you girls wanna see I can PM it to you!
And yes, I will definitely look into the blogging thing! :)
I would totallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy watch your videos and read your blog! You are great at this and I especially love your natural brown-ish looks. Those are my favorites!
Trust me, just playing around with it will help. I was very overwhelmed w/ iMovie but I forced myself to edit short videos and I realized how super-easy it is!
^I'll NEVER do a youtube channel but I was definitely thinking of starting a blog. I actually did start it but will get to it properly once I'm done w/ classes. :p

Let's hope I get the hang of it too! and it'd be totally awesome if you did tutorials too! :)
i would definitely follow your blog and youtube channel! M you should do one tooo!!!
I need to get the MAC palette where you can fill in your own colors. I have asked hubby to buy me some colors in the beginning and then every month I can add one color to it. I recently moved to a new place and left behind lots of my makeup colors.
I also need a new face wash. Can anyone suggest face wash for dry skin?
And I have sensitive skin which cannot handle foamy/harsh cleansers and I love Philosophy's Purity Facial Cleanser. It removes every trace of makeup too.
Do you plan on only buying MAC e/s? I feel like there are much better ones out there. Why don't you get a Z Palette and you can fill it with MAC and other shadows as well? You could also fit around 27 as opposed to the 15 you could fit in the MAC (if you take out the insert, I think you can fit around 25 or 26). I have a MAC 15 palette which I plan on filling with a few colorful shades. I have a Z Palette for my neutrals and everyday shades.
OMG I am also moving to KSA after I get married!!! Which city are you moving to?
LOL! Actually, I don't work. >.< I have a monthly budget of $50 set aside for makeup (my parents are kinda' supportive of my makeup hobby, lol!), and since I'm moving to KSA soon I'm trying to buy whatever I need before I move since they don't have many brands available there. Also, i didn't buy everything at once. It was spread over 4-5 weeks. :p
^YAY! I'll be in Khubar or possibly Jubail, post likely Jubail. I'll be there for 6 months or so at most, have to come back to finish my degree from here. :) You?
