I’m really surprised this topic hasn’t come up here.
Have you guys tried these products? What are your reviews? What colors and what brands worked?
I’m looking into the fall collection for the anastasia beverly hills lip “wands” - which are just matte creams/liquids, but I am not finding them anywhere. They’re already sold out and they were released mid-July.

I saw them at the Ulta by my house last weekend. Have you tried ordering online? Through Ulta or ABH website directly?

Ulta has anastasia liquid lipsticks? I asked at the Ulta here, and they said they don't carry it and the website doesn't have them either.

I think the Anastasia ones were the most poorly reviewed no? I bought the kat von d, colourpop and stila ones. Some colours are excellent, some too drying. Take extra care of your lips if you have lips that peel because it'll get uncomfortable really fast.

I love the YSL lip stains (have a few different colors from nudes, pink, purple to coral) and also their Kiss and Blush. Love both of them--the Kiss and Blush gives a nice soft look without being drying and the stains are great for long wear. I love Sephora's lip stain in red as well...possibly one of my favorite shades of red, ever. I wear that on its own or sometimes layer it over a red lipstick for a really matte look.

The Ulta's here in Dallas do. The one in Flower Mound by my house has an entire ABH section, that's where I've gotten all my ABH brow products. I even found the limited edition Tamanna eyeshadow palette there when all the Sephoras were sold out lol. I don't know why they don't have it on their website but I checked on the ABH website and they have them...order from them directly maybe?

ULTA and Sephora by me have Anastasia too. Although I find their make up to be to trendy for my taste.
I recently was gifted a YSL lipcolor and vaaa vaaa vooom...

I found the Anastasia Beverly Hills ones to be v overrated - they just passed them out to all the popular beauty bloggers so that they would rave about them and get everyone else to buy them. They just jumped on the bandwagon after all the decent liquid lipsticks got big.
My personal preferences: Sleek Matte Me (slightly runny but beautiful shades), Bourjois Velvet Rouge (creamy and beautiful shades, I literally have all of these), Nyx Lip Cream (not the suede one, love all of these, lovely shades), Maybelline 24 Hour shades (good range of colours, have a few reds in these that I like, last pretty well), Kat von D (do not have but LOVE the colours), Lime Crime (again, slightly runny but beautiful colours and last ages on me), Sephora lip creams (didn't buy but tried on my hand and took AGES to get it off. still debating whether to buy), MUA luxe (cheap UK brand, only £3 and pretty decent! favourite shade is Dare which is a lovely cranberry pink that always gets me compliments).
I've actually got a huge collection of liquid lipsticks, been checking out more, might get the LA Splace and Dose of colours one, depends on price cos some of these are stupidly priced!

I have several of the NYX soft matte lip creams. These are the ones with city names (Abu Dhabi, Antwerp, Prague, etc). I love all of them. They are absolutely amazing, really long lasting and not drying. I would pay $20 for it but it's great that it's only for about $5 😀. They smell like vanilla cupcakes too.
I also have a cream lip stain from Sephora Collection. It's 12 African Violet. I really like it. I don't wear purples or plums but I needed this color for a sari that I was wearing to a family wedding. It looked great and lasted a long time.
Its easy to apply these products. You can put on one application and blot it after 10-15 seconds for a stained look. Or you can put on a second coat and let it dry to make it look like a rich matte lipstick.
I would highly recommend the NYX soft matte lip creams. Get them from Ulta. $5 is nothing. Buy it!

Some of you ladies might be super gori.
Out of the nyx ones, I just opened up Istanbul and Buenos Aires - Istanbul = color of my lips, and Buenos Aires ends up looking like chalk, when on the hand it appears to be a pretty peach. WTH. I have Athens too and even that looks better than Buenos Aires, although both look like chalk on my face.
I think I need dark colors. My karachi/gujrati skin is too dark for this stuff.
I have been wanting to try the sephora brand.
List colors that you guys have tried that are good too!
I tried the YSL stains on the back of my hand and the "tint" is just that. It's a tint. Might as well get that from pinching my lips.

I apply either vaseline or aquaphor underneath them, and they stay longer and my lips stay moist - still dries matte. I was reading that if you use a matte lip balm underneath them, it stays well.

a good matte lip balm is palmers coco butter lip balm. I hate lip creams though even if they are really pigmented my lips peel a few hrs after applying.
I tried vaseline underneath but the lip creams just slide around when i apply it :(

I'm not gori. Not too dark either but definitely not considered gori by anyone in my family.
I like Abu Dhabi as a beige nude. It might be brown on gori women but it's the perfect nude for me.
I love corals and peachy pinks so I use Antwerp (light coral for my skin tone) and Ibiza (a little darker than Antwerp)
I also have morocco (Orange), Prague (plumy pink) and San Paulo (pink). I love them but since these are dark colors I usually blot them so it's like a stain.

I have used Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation, really nice and provides good even coverage without looking too heavy. I usually mix it with liquid foundation and then apply it.
Liquid lipsticks I have used so far are
Bourjois Rouge Velvet (Velvet 07 nude-ist )
Maybelinne 24 hour super stay (Raspberry and Creme Caramel)

I heard about the Kate Von D ones. Are they really not as drying? I have a hard time imaging any liquid lipstick that isn't drying. They all dry matte, so tough on lips that are chapped.
I've been wanting to try the Sephora line of matte creams. Anyone try those?

Try NYX Stockholm with L'oreal Lip Liner in Au Natural... frikken LOVE. NYX Stockholm on its own is awesome as well. Good true nude for desi skin.
