i have joined gym and 3-4 times go there as well
but with liposuction having seen overnight results i am literally after it!
exercise will take me months to get back into shape!!!! :(

Liposuction does seem extreme to me. Even after you get the fat removed, say in a couple of years it comes all back...what will you do then? Go for another Liposuction? I don't think that Liposuction is a long term solution, its a temporary measure. You still need to look at your diet and exercise in the long run, even if you go for a Liposuction now. I think even if it takes a few months for you to see results by going to gym, its still a better long term solution.

korn I am against doing anything "artificially" especially for cosmetic purposes when it can be avoided.
In this case, you can achieve your goal by working out. It takes longer and the results arent over night but there wont be any side effects/risks involved as compared to liposuction.
Sure the liposuction may be a quick fix for your problem ...however keep in mind that abdominal fat will still return if you dont follow a proper diet and workout regime.
Personally, liposuction is like cheating....when you cheat you dont feel the same sense of satisfaction as you would when you work hard for something.

Korn, i have the same problem..all my weight goes to my stomach its so annoying and at times i think i wanna get liposuction too..i saw a show on tlc once, i forgot what it was called but a lady got liposuction and she lost thirty lbs after the procedure but i swear she looked no different..MAYBE she looked 5 lbs lighter but that's it. i'm not saying that's how it is for everyone who gets liposuction but i don't think you loose a lot of inches..you just loose weight and you can gain it all back easily.
i think you should reconsider getting it..workout and change your diet a little bit..its funny how i'm suggesting things i should do but i don't! i know it's hard but it's the best way..and if you really really wanna get liposuction and you absolutely feel there's no other way for you to loose your belly then make sure you do a lot of research on it before getting it done and after you get it, start working out and change your diet so you can maintain your new weight and possibly even loose some more if you want.

yeah lipo is no joke, many people suffer from serious healthy issues after it or even die during/after the procedure.

i think it was 1 lac Rs.but it was of whole abdomen....front, sides, back.
no rest...u just have to stay one day in lahore so that Drs. can check u and change ur dressing.n after a day ur almost on the routine....but only no heavy lifting, n u cant bend because of belt, n this blt will b removed after 6 days.
u can start heavy exercise after a month....
no drawbacks....coz its not surgery ....means no blood loss, no unconsciousness.

some matters r just beyond excercise......u will waste ur too much time on burning fat but why dont if u cn do it by wasting some money in very short time.

One of my freinds got some injections to reduce her fat from a doctor in Pakistan. She said it worked. One injection was for Rs5,000. I am not recommending them or anything but sounds better than surgery. She said that she lost 2 inches by it. I don't know how many injcetions she got, though this is a well known qualified doctor.

I know a gal who had lipo. It was very expensive and she did look pretty good after the surgery. But she put every ounce back on within a few months. So that was a total waste of a few thousand dollars!
