Lime Green dresses - Wearable?

Guys please help me out…I’ love the design of this outfit but don’t know about the color coz it’s too bold and bright. This will be the first time for me to wear lime green(if I ever decide to buy it!) for a mehndi party. I really want to try it though. Do you think it’s a nice outfit? Think it’ll suit light-medium warm skin tone???

i like the design but the colour is too much...i wouldnt recommend it to any of my friends :)

that’s what I said to myself when i first looked at it but then i want to experiment with colors…i usually wear colors that most consider ‘dull’ …I just want a lil change …I don’t want to look the same ALL THE TIME…you don’t think lime green can look good on anybody?

I think whichever color gives a glow to our complexion is nice....on desi skin lime green looks like this: I got it from the seasonsindia website

inpak, the model in the pic is quite fair...unless you're refering to lahori kuris most paki women wouldn't look so fair...I'm personally not white...I have a medium skin tone(not white butnot too dark either)...

I was trying to find a pic with a person that has skin tone close to desi skin tone and usually most models have this skin color. It's definitely a very unique color and I like it a lot but i'll try and find some more pics as examples.

I actually wondered how this color would look too, it's becoming quite popular lately.

Hmm CA if ure nervous abt such a diferent color change, why not just use parrot green (thas wat its called there :D) as an accent color? Like, reverse the colors on the outfit in ure first post.. i personally hated tht color, but i dunno, i went shopping buying loose kapra, and now i really wanna get a fuschia/lime green suit, im gnna have hte kurta pink and a lime green/parrot green salwar.. plus earrings and churiyan in green :smiley: :blush:

With lime green, u have to experiment with it on ur skin. I reccommend u go to a store and try it on rathar than gettin it onlne. Plus, lime green is a risky color, it may not look the same in person compared to the pictures online. Lime green works on all skintones but lime green varies with the intensity of yellow screaming out so try it on before u buy it. I can work most lime green but not all lime greens work on me, mustardy lime green suits me more than the first one u posted. Play around with color, but try it before u buy it.

the first one you posted is more parrot green or lime green the second one
looks more yellowish than lime green. i used to love the color pishtachio and even bought a sharara of that color but for some reason after i wore it, it really didn't flatter my complexion and ended up looking quite dull. Now I never wear. I'm wondering if lime green might do the same.

For me black in combination with any color is best, dark pink colors brighten up my complexion, or turquoise.
