you look quite nice in that sari but is that really lime green, to me it looks more yellowish with a little green mixed in.

I fall right in the middle not very very ghostly white and not dark, i'm fair in complexion in the desi population.

you’re definitely right in terms of the varying intensity of yellow, like i don’t think a parrot green would look good on me but mustardy green would look good. so yea the best thing to do is try it out in a store and see how it looks.

you can also wear yellow or orange for mehndi..doenst have to be green...
personally, the colour is a lill "neon"..but, maybe it will look nice in better lightnin..not sure

wow that combination of green and dark pink looks quite nice. I've seen that green in combination with a lot of colors and it looks really nice. if lime green is something you really like then here are some ideas in terms of color combinations

Thanks everyone for the advice!! the outfit i ordered has already been transfered to shipping department so i cant really cancel the order now...i have a feeling it will look nice on me, if not then well i'll give it to someone else.. now waiting for the package to come in the mail..!:)

if lime green isn't wearable, i'm screwed. i tend to wear a lot of green, and people keep sending me lime colored stuff, and i think it can look quite cute :D i think it depends on your style, what you do on the lime green, your complexion, etc. but it is wearable.
i think it often looks best contrasting with another color. if the outfit is all green it might feel like too much.

I've seen sum Lime green outfits wid red as an combination
and my sis..she made this dress .. Lime green shirt..blue jamawar pants..red dupatta..i know it kinda looks like a Gola Gunda type..but believe me it is gorgeous..!

hmmm well i just bought a lime greenish lehnga ,more like a long skirt.. anywayz its not THAT bright but its more like light lime green and its looks hot :P oh and it has nice embroidery around the bottom - but the top is black ..
