I guess this is the same as goras who are shocked when they find out desis use a lota and their left hand to clean up. I was at another forum and the goras were saying things like "Ugh... never going to an Paki/Indian restaurant again" or "Damn, so that hot Pakistani chick in my class does that yucky stuff..."

I must be crazy but I don't expect anyone to do things for me..that's just too much. I have grown out of the habit I guess. Last time when I went to Pakistan, I felt aweful since my work was getting done automatically. Thanks to the conversion rate, I gave paanch paanch so rupya to every mulazim I came across. I guess it makes sense if you married a princess or have family, kids to pay someone to help you out...but if you are single..tsk tsk khuda ka khof kur Ashley.
There is a bad side to doing things yourself....things get piled up and put on hold until I (i.e my bro) gets time to do them.

theek keh rahay ho, I don’t like things done for me either. I pay for all services rendered hence a maid etc.

Although ashtray I believe cleaning a toilet is a very humbling experience. I will try it one day in order to humble myself.
