How many of you actually (I was going to write ‘how many of you women’, but I’ll get shor shraba from the khwaateen here, not that I am intimidated :chai: ) come to Life1 to actually look for answers rather than vent/rant?

My little brain is curious.

sometime back I really came here to seek answers. I wanted my situation to be analysed by people who don't know me so that I can get fair comments and opinions.

u cant imagine the 1 who is going through the issue/prob how’s she/he goona feeel , u cant imagine their pain as well bcoz u aint going through it … of course they will goona come to their threds 2 see n expect serious replies :chai:

venting in itself is therapeutic..so even if someone is just venting, it may be helping them. let it be

I know some do really come here to seek help so I won't generalize that most people (esp. ladies) come here to vent. But yes in my opinion a lot of those who write here about themselves come here to vent or just to entertain others (keeping L1 alive). As far as those who come to read L1 threads either come for helping and advising others and some just for mere entertainement (as someone said threads here are better that star plus stuff :@:).

most women come here to get advice on their real painful problems, in my case, it helps me to think through whatever it is that’s bothering me. when we’re anonymous nobody can gossip or use our weaknesses/problems against us on the internet. in the nonvirtual world there’s always the fear that friends might gossip to the whole world if i confide in them.

plus getting the male perspective helps too
i definitely don’t come here to create drama, :bummer: why would anybody do that

**I come here for the sage and sensible advice of my sane and sensible fellow guppies !
They are the answers to my prayers. They ALWAYS have a solution to life's each and every problem.
Without them my life (1) would be incomplete . **
