Did anyone ever made a decision not to have kids … ever!!! Is this normal?! to tell u the truth i just can’t even imagine having a life with out any kids… how can people do that? Dont they get lonely when they r old?! If they dont decide to adopt that is…
I just love kids and I want to adopt one. My ammi isn't in favour of that. She thinks that people would not appreciate it in our culture. :--(
This is a natural desire though but some people do make a concientious decision not to have kids ever. THere are some people who don't really have a passion for kids and so they first enjoy together to a hilt before making babies. Khair, to each his own.
yes my sister , she have been married for like 7 years now n she dont want any kids …she is quite happy n busy wid her life …n i don no if its normal or not but i soo wanna be aunty

I know I have said this plenty of times before "I don't like kids" I have had really bad experience with kids and if I could live my life without having one I would ! But it ain't happening and I know it :(
i love kids :) and everytime i see a lil brat i want to take him/her home with me... unfortunately that could be considered kidnapping

my best friend is like that. She's been married for over 6 years and has no kids. She says she's not ready for them but it may also be a medical reason. To be honest, I never asked..I always thought it was a personal thing..
I don't want to have any kids, I know it's highly encouraged in our religion but I'm anxious and worried they'll turn out messed up and I'll have to go through the heart ache later.
It'll be hard to bring them up in a Islamic way (times are bad) and instilling Islamic values and morals in them in this society will be a constant up hill struggle and I just can't be arsed.
Everyone, even I loves babies but your stuck with them for life and it's a big responsibility.

Life without kids is...bliss! Okay, that was a joke. I only said it because my noisy and unruly cousins aren't home, and peace has finally prevailed in my life.
There are two sides of the issue. as Naadir said he wouldn't want to have any kids since he is not sure he will be able to bring them up right. Which is a fairly valid point. More than once I have wondered whether it is worthwhile to bring more souls into this miserable, war-ridden world. But, if ALL the people take this point of view, the human race would become extinct. (Although in my opinion it would be such a welcome change. This is what comes of reading Swift!)
Most people, especially girls, like the idea of having children because babies are so cute and cuddly. Well, not all babies are cute. And if cuteness is which induces a person to have babies, IMO, they aren't mature enough to take up such a huge responsibility. As I said, most people only look at the cuter side of being a parent. Very few people pause to consider whether or not they are capable enough to raise a child into a responsible member of the society.

Umm...do you believe that once one is buried and dead, it would bother them not to have left a spit image behind? And since this world is supposed to be temporal, what is the point of leaving a part of you behind, which at any rate is not going to be there forever. But then, to each his own.
