this is not my business. No one like to see their friends in distress and pain for more than enough. So we just tried to bring her back to normal life. at the end of the day its their own life and they can deal with such remarks. Now people like the colleague are everywhere. Its the society actually. And my frustration is against the society and this manipulating “log kya kahenge” fear. I dont find it justifiable thats it.

Woah. You watch two incidents and you feel upset as you see it as unjustifiable. I give you a suggestion in how to diffuse another such situation and you reply with it not being your business? That it’s their own life and they have to deal with it themselves? Well if you don’t want to do anything than why even complain?

It’s not a matter of being there 24/7 to stand up for your friend because she doesn’t have courage herself. What I said was very simply a small kind gesture that could make your friend feel better about herself and make the other colleagues realise that they’re being silly. I’m actually really shocked that performing just a small kind gesture (which isn’t going to hurt you in any way) is something that is not in your business to do! What’s happened to basic compassion and humanity!
