haah. yeah sure. pakistani men. talk about wishful thinking.
all I gotta say is that if your partner is someone you have to pick up after, then he needs to grow up. Most educated and mature people would be considerate enough when it comes to stuff like smelly socks! - I mean c'mon...
and re: your wishful thinking comment, in my social circle of Pakistani families, the husbands and wives do things together. In my own case, she cooks and does laundry while I take care of the cleaning and often with groceries. Perhaps, not an even split but I try to help wherever else I can.
I also know of desi couples where the wife is the primary bread winner and the husband does more work around the house cuz he works a 9:00 to 5:00 strictly office job.
So to say that Pakistani men don't help around the house or pick up after themselves is a gross generalization.
