I think our members are intelligent enough to know that you dont come to an online forum for real life solutions. They rather discuss a possible scenario so to judge the potential and intelligence of posters or just to debate for the fun of it.

I'd concur. The allowance however could be correlated down to him being in a complete man's world. The rest being all black nights in a burkha who choose to ignore his scented splendid being. Nothing to drool over or admire. Then the interwebz having him completely restricted doesn't help a man or understandably their explosive testosterone levels either. :D

I completely agree. But the weird thing is that most of the modni's respond to my posts. I am allowed way to much freedom to do whatever I want and I get away with it. But then again my last two threads have gone close to or over 100 posts. Not so bad for a troll eh? Also I wonder what it says about the posters who are present here.

That would get far more traction than Life 1. That is also why the corner room was far more active than Life 1. But then again the Corner Room bordered on soft porn.

Separate channel or the same one it doesn't really affect the target group. They will still watch the Jersey Shore or the Kardashians regardless if it is on Fox or on HBO. The real question is does the Jesery shore and its spin off dominate the airwaves of said channel?
While I am all for stupid and idiotic posts (which constitute most of my posts) an adult section would be a very bad idea. The Corner room was the old adult section and the subject matter that was discussed was beyond revolting. I remember one thread that was a hot topic of discussion where men and women were seriously discussing if it is halal to masturbate in front of the other sex.
Do you really wanna read those threads? Rather do you want the 14 to 18 year olds who visit cafe reading such threads? Maturity and respectful dialogue are not the mainstream of internet discourse. The new adult forum would just be an excuse to be go soft porn on a desi website.

then you need another thought coming. Taking L1 so non seriously could be a variable approach, but not every one comes here and share things only for the fun of them. I have seen threads with very serious problems being discussed and many posters, give a wonderful and considerate advice too. Where does all that count then, if all that OP intends is to judge the potential of the fellow guppies or jut to debate for the fun of it.
I believe Life and relationships is a serious forum in its nature and should be treated as such. That posters get to post funny threads sometimes is not something objectionable anyway, because as human beings, we do need break. Too much of non serious threads or posts and flooding should be noted though, because they have a proper place for that, (Cafe), and this is where the mods are needed.
I would support the OP's stance as long as the thread serves a constructive purpose and the members and well as the mods realise too much of making fun of life and relationships is expression of a shallow approach towards life.
CM bhai, I actually think you bring some sense to your threads so normally don't see your responses as idiotic but then a disclaimer as I normally don't read a lot of the idiotic threads, I skip after reading a few replies :)
We just need Mods to start moving the My husband wants to skype naked threads to the "Junk Mail Thread" the same way we have to filter our email mailbox
