Lifey: As u said, nursing is a respectable career and so I wouldn’t divorce him or anything… But if he turned out to be a chokidaar or something i’d leave him, no joke! … remember i don’t love him yet, i was arranged married.. doctor to chokidaar?? ofcourse i would be… oh i’d go crazy… i wouldn’t talk to him for aaages… i’d cry n cry n cry… and then someone like urself would come along n say, “look, nursing ain’t all that bad, he’s going good for himself, he’s a nice guy.. give him a chance and if he lies again.. then its up to u what u want to do”

and then i’d be like… fine :naraz:

and then he’d have to uthaa my nakhray for the rest of his life…

If yoru brother or sister lied to you abt something you dont really cut ties with them do you?

**Unfortunately both have happened in our extended family and friends.

In the first scenario the boys family lied that he has an undergraduate degree and will start working soon. The marriage is still on after about 10 years, only because both of the families are jahil to the fullest and do not believe in divorce. The wife is now working and fully supporting her children while he does nothing but smoke and eat. He has still yet to work a day in his life.

The next scenario was a family friend, who got married to a chick in Pakistan who was cheating/ in love with another guy and everyone found out after the nikah, because her “lover” came to express his love to her on her wedding night :rolleyes:!!! This ended in divorce. **

Oh my! When I opened this thread I was just being totally random, thought it'd be fiction... can't believe this stuff goes on so commonly... yup the dude is jaahil n nikamma... fair play to the woman for supporting her family... and yeah the other one did deserve a divorce !

a person who can lie once can lie again....................... next time he might lie bigger than this...................... i can never trust a person who can lie to such an extent.......... there is no reason to live wth tht person whom u can never trust
