Ok I just finished my exams and GS is boring the heck outta me so I’m gonna start this thread…
Let’s say u had an arranged marriage. What u and ur family knew about ur hubby was that he was a physician… but on the wedding night, u find out that he and his family have lied to you and your family and that he is actually a nurse, not earning a whole load, but good enough… what would u do?
Gentlemen: Let’s say u also find out on ur wedding night (HAS to be the wedding night, or else the dilemma is no fun!) that ur wife is having an affair… what would u do?
^ This actually happened with a family that I know of (friends of friends). Except, it was the girl they lied about being a doctor. From what I remember, the guy despite being lied to stuck it out because he was shareef and he took his marriage vows seriously. I think the girl’s family felt no remorse- they felt like they got away with it

I think if it was the boy who lied, the marriage woulda been over! not just because the girl’s family was weird but this would’ve been a big deal in any family… if the munda lied..
this is why why the guy/girl should have some communication prior to marriage, even when it's an arranged marriage.
makes the whole thing clearer and makes it easier to understand just the spouse, not the rishtey waley aunty, her mama, inalaws, naukars..etc. u know if the spouse lied to u or not.
i would have a very big fight wth him n vl going to give him v tough time for the rest of his life n would always repeat this thing that u r a liar..................... may be on v severe conditions i would be living wth him otherwise no................

shereysh I heard of such a case where the guy’s family didnt know tht the girl used to work before marriage…and they keep giving her tanaa’s abt it now.
as i said if he lies after marriage too then tht would lead to trust issues and all tht..but if it was just before.....and he is a good person and all tht then its ok.
