Must be a new rule for you. I’ve seen you post “Allah” or the “prophet of Islam’s” name as recently as this week without the mandatory praise following it. You can’t force people to follow your version of religon anyway. Especially for those who think it is silly and insignificant for that kind of window dressing.

I don't know how to post links to other threads here, but just wanted to address the profanity issue. Yes Pilot, some "big" words may definitely have a base value, in which case you simply ignore them or descend to their level and reply in like manner. They are not the run-of-the-mill vulgar slang atleast, you got to hand it to those posters. Vulgarity does not fall well on the ear, but one can tolerate a nicely sugar-coated gali somewhat better. Yes?
When you talk about vulgar words, there are many "daily language" words that I personally find reprehensible. For example, some in Xtreme's posts above:

Again, personal insults should be dealt with personally and not elaborated on the board, but communal insults really are quite boundaryless. There's no personal element in there I don't think.
No one has as yet told me what a place like Corner Room which frankly shames my older-twenties sensibilities, is doing on a "Family Forum".
As for language usage, the beauty of any language is twisting and turning the words to come up with unique phrases that look and feel not so bad after all. You can do that in Urdu as well, but I have seen numerous Cafeites use such vulgar urdu that it's preferable for me to stick to English. Gadha ji for instance in the Chaltahai thread about handbags, decended to a level of urdu profanity that was a put off. He often does that btw. Even if it is done subtly, it is disgusting. Yet, how come the urdu writer crowd sees no shameful aspect of all that? There are just as many understandings or passings of innuendos in Gadha's and other peeps posts. Calling Sadi Sobi "gobi" and using that word in all sorts of connotations would be an example of a personal insult - is that fair? Just because it is said in Urdu, does it make it alright?
People, don't hide behind the hijab of religion to post vulgarities when it suits you. It makes you no different from the hypocritical Mullah. Everyone likes to have a bit of fun and frolic, there is no harm in that, but come out and do it properly rather than run behind religious petticoats. You can't be starched up all the time. Even Nadia_H whose posts I respect immensely, lets her down once in a while to enjoy herself. She's not hiding an inner self, and neither should anyone else. If you don't post responsibly yourself, don't expect others around you to do so.

I always say “rasool Allah”, if my mistake I have used their blessed name, then Allah forgive me, but I show more respect to our master then 99.9% of you ppl.-plus no one is saying dont use the world Allah.

That thread was not anti semetic or anything. It was based on cold hard teaching of Torah, wich you can find on any website. Such as “non jes are sub human”, “you can cheat the non jew” so on. Also ppl agreed with it, so you cantb act like I’m the only person heere exposing the lies of those who defame Islam.
I know displaying the racism of Jews hurts you, but live with it-it was not a silly thread, was not childish-it was prper discussion on an issue, such as Islam and Women-you dont post those threads al over the place in complaint.

the only point of concern for me is the language used at times...........this per se is not bad in my opinion but what is disturbing is that it is getting a structural character, that's not right.

NYA That was really fast, I was expecting 9 more replies from you but you did it in just one shot. From your posts and previous threads I can see that you may or may not be married but for sure you don't have kids around you. Once you get to a point where you'll have a complete family and they all will be browsing the same website as you do then your language and your thoughts will be much different from what it is right now. Till then people like us will be looking at Admins and Mods...

One man's master is another man's false prophet who insulted their saviour. Religion is not an exact science or some monolith where you dictate to others who they should refer to as 'master' or that they should show reverence to a person they deem as irrevelant in their religion or spirituality.
