When my dad was alive, my mother (because she used to watch so many dramas and movies where mother always die first and kids are raised by some horrible step mother) used to believe (or hope) that she would die first. We had this lady in our extended family who never got married. She was more like the crazy cat woman of Simpsons (and sorry to say, quite unattractive otherwise too). My mom used to tell my dad that if I ever die before you, you should marry her because kids would be needing a mother. We all used to giggle on the choice of mom and used to sympathize with dad that mom is planing to leave him with such a ‘wonderful’ prize.
