Well he starts with describing what the Jinns are according to the Quran and authentic ahadith. The different verses of the quran and the Hadiths that talk about the jinn. Prophet SAW said there are 3 types of Jinn. I don’t want to describe the hadith off hand as I might make a mistake and say something that is not in the hadith. So he talks about what the Jinns are and how they maybe called different things in different cultures and even the experiences people think they had with aliens could be explained by the Jinn. Then he talks about the classic scholars of Islam and their experiences and descriptions about the Jinn. He quotes Ibn Qayyim and other major scholars. He talks about how the sooth-sayers and fortune tellers may deceive people and the different hadits that talk about that. The most interesting part of the book is towards the end where he interviews muslim exorcists traveling to different countries including egypt and pakistan and asking them about their experiences and the exact steps they take, the exact verses they read, step by step and what works and doesn’t. He also asks them to describe memorable cases of possession. There is a lot similarity between the exocists and their methods and descriptions of the jinn and how/why they might possess someone. They also warn vs fake peer/alims/exorcsits who use other methods other than the authentic quran to deceive people.
I have been researching this topic for sometime now and have read other materials where the western person is describing their experiences with “demons” or “ghosts” and the description matches that of the jinn. Another testimony that comes to mind is that of the Tai Chee masters from china, who can do amazing acts with the energy called “tai chee” within them. Their feats have been verified by scientists who have placed various detectors on them whilst performing these feats and conclude that they have no scientific explanation for their feats ( You can youtube one such documentary where scientists are dumb founded). Anyway, I read the testimony of one the Tai CHee masters who converted to Islam, and described that only after having converted and learning about the Jinn did he realize that he was dealing with them to get his energy.
