Lets share Jinn stories

As Muslims, we all know that believing in the existence of the Jinn is a part of our religion. There is almost no family in Pakistan that does not have a Jinn story or two to tell. Some maybe true, others might be someone’s vivid imagination. It is important to understand that in Islam, the concept of “ghost” interacting with people does not exist as after death, the soul enters the state of Barzak, and there is no return from that. So there are no ghosts roaming around. What people in the west understand as “ghosts” are in fact Jinns. I have many stories of jinn as one of my aunt lived in a house full of them. Everyone who has lived in the house has testified experiencing something anomalies. Thankfully, the Jinns in her house are muslim and dont’ really harm anyone other then their younger ones playing pranks like hiding things and putting them in strange places. ( can’t find keys placed on table 2 minute a go…found a few days later in the fridge) etc. Neighbors have seen the Jinn family in form of humans going through the front door of the house. IT’s a long story but my aunt lived in that house for 20 plus years with many details to tell. Anyone wanna share theirs?

You probably need to read this!! http://www.paklinks.com/gs/all-views/526707-jinns-in-my-room-part-i-and-ii.html

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

so what is your take on “mediums” that are allegedly able to communicate with the dead?
do you believe that they are able to speak to spirits in Barzakh?
are they fakes?
are the Jinns relaying info?

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

Munza that’s a very interesting question which I have investigated. I read the book “the exocrism tradition in islam” by Bilal Philips (he is muslim) and is probably the best book you can find on the subject. (actually i heard that the book was banned as some Alims complained it revealed to much for the public-he conducts interview with exocrists from many muslim countires in the book and transcribes them. As for the ghosts and medians question, the answer is that it is done through the jinns. There is a hadith that everyone has a jinn with us. So we might die and the jinn might still be alive and pretty much know everything you know about yourself. These jinn are done used to deceive people and make them commit shirk. Ibn Qayyim was asked this question, and the answer is simply that it is done through the shayateen.

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

but does this theory not then suggest that Jinns are shayateen?
or is the implication still that some Jinns are good and some bad…

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

I know someone who claims they can not only talk to jinns but mind read…I would like to say i dont believe them but with some stuff they have been pretty darn accurate. Generally i never have believed this. And isnt cross communication strictly forbidden??

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

once a jinn log on to online thingie and said “Lets share adam-zad stories”

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

I’m not sure whether it is forbidden or discouraged. I haven’t done my homework on it.
The issue with accuracy is what gets me too…I’ve seen a woman “read” stuff that she could never have known so I’m trying to make some sense out of it.

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

I have read and heard that these mediums know your ‘secrets’ because they communicate with ‘your’ jin. Basically what whateverman is saying.
I thought it was forbidden for humans to communicate with jins.

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

Interesting! I’ve heard of people having Jinn under their control, but for someone else to be able to communicate with another persons jinn, I don’t understand how that can happen

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

I used to talk to them but I am glad, they never replied me  I knew they were listening to me because they used to obey me when I ask them to stop teasing/ disturbing …they would listen to me!

I think it is forbidden to have any kind of communication with jinns. By that..i mean ppl who seek help through jinn. And as i knw it..jinns dont work for free for humans. Which means nauzu billah.. A person has to commit shirk and all. I was listening to one of islamic excorcist..he was telling the story about..how some jinn used to converse with a girl. And after befriending with her..not only he possessed her..but made her do sajda to him.

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

During the summer time there is a river that runs between a village in Norther Pakistan Azad Kashmir region. Due to the heavy rainfall the river rises to a considerable height and fish are swept downwards from other ponds in to the river. A lot of people go fishing during this time. I remember that I was about 10 years old and my uncle had asked me to come along with him to fish. We sat for about 3 hours trying to catch fish and we caught about 5 or 8 and decided to head out. It was getting dark as the sun was setting. To our amazement across the river on the banks we saw a small child stranded next to the rising river bank. My uncle and I both cried that someone forgot their child on the river bank, just then the kid looked at us and started to literally walk on water Jesus style. And I kid you not when I say that he literally started walking on water. He saw my uncle and I call out to and then stepped on the river and took a few steps towards us. We got the hint and ran for our lives. I later asked my uncle who the kid was and how can he walk on water? My uncle replied simply, “Beta woh aik Jin tha”. That wasn’t my only encounter of the paranormal. But this one was the most apparent.

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

I have heard a lot about ainak wala jin :roman:

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

I have one. A couple of months ago I was going to bed when I saw an old lady sitting on my mum and dads bed calling my name telling me to come over to her and I’ve seen her a few time after as well. Once when I was in pak and she was sitting on a chair watching me. Scared me to death both times.

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

Interesting. Yes the whole thing about mediums talking to the Jinns is there. There is a hadith that says that fortune tellers have part truth and mix a 100 lies to what they tell you. Again, for a very good understanding of the Jinn, read “the exorcism tradition in islam” by bilal philips, he address all the questions posed on this fourm from Islamic point of view and what the classic scholars have said about these specifics questions addressed to them. For example, mind reading. It is possible that it is done through communication of the jinn, but we also know that only Allah knows the secrets of the heart. The jinn might know somethings, and add lies and conjectures to spice things up. I remember reading in the book that a Sheikh was challenged and the medium was reading his mind and claimed to know everything, so the alim grabbed a handful of gravel in his hand and closed his fist and said how many gravel pieces I am holding, since the alim didn’t count them, the medium didn’t know…The Alim showed him that only Allah knows everything. Yes the Jinn often do require you to commit shirk before they do anything for you. There is also a clip on youtube from a saudi tv show with english subtitles that has a alim who specializes in dealing with black magic and he shows all the different things he has found throughout his career and what the mean and its done through the jinn and how to know if someone is a black magician (not african-american magician) but someone who does black magic. I have many interesting stories from my family as well but will share them later on as we progress. My family members have actually seen some jinns while the jinn didn’t realize they were being seen. The description they give (this is 2 separate families having seen them in separate homes) is that of a cross between a human and a bear..sort of like a big foot creature. An upright man like creature with lots of hair all over the body. They often take the form of animals like cats/dogs/snakes/ etc.

Ever hear of sleep paralysis, when you wake up and realize someone is sitting on your chest and you can’t move and talk? This is a very common thing that many people experience, and might be the work of jinn. Scientists say its due to the fact that sometimes when you wake up, not all of your brain is awake and you don’t have control of all your body right away. This is BS for two reasons. 1. This paralyzation can last for a while, not just when the body is waking up, but it could be the reason why you woke up and are out of breath and can’t move your body. 2. Scientists who supposedly make sense of everything using the fairy-tale story of evolution can’t explain how why this mechanism exists since evolutionary point of view tells us that we are essentially hunters/gatheres and having the brain still sleep when we are try to get up and escape a wild creature or an attack from any other enemies makes no sense. Why would our brain “evolve” that way? This is why evolutionists talk out of their butt sometimes when they can’t explain the disparaties in their fairy tale of a theory. Anyway, getting off topic.

Yes shaytaan is a Jinn not an angel. Shayteen being a fallen angel is a christian concept. In Islam, angels don’t have the ability to disobey allah’s commands. His army is the Jinn and also humans who are like the shayateen.

Re: Lets share Jinn stories

I’d like to get my hands on that book by Bilal Philips. Would be an interesting read.
Those who have read…can you explain a bit more on what the author says about possession?
