This is the second series win for Pakistan in India, earlier
instance was way back in 86-87.

So even when we had greats in our team we couldn't win this good!

well, we did have in 97/98… we did win ODI series 2-1… but 4-2 feels much better :smiley:

Just got back from watching the 6th ODI on Big Screen. Thats why I wasnt around here. It was a lot more fun to watch it with 5 other pakistani friends :>

Regarding the 6th ODI: There were more than enough questionable calls in the match. Two during the Pak innings, Youhana’s run out (The Rondu 3rd umpire was blind i guess) and Inzi’s caugh-behind, the ball was miles away from the bat. Then again during Indian innings, a couple of LBW’s were not given to Rao Iftikhar, who I think bowled very well. Yohana was responsible for getting two Indian players run out. Now considering how he Yohana himself was given run out, it was poetic justice :slight_smile:

Overall, I think we improved in performance in this series as time passed. We came together and played as team after a long time and that helped us win the games. We started believing in ourselves.

There were a lot of highlight performances from our side but I gotta give it out to our boy Rana. The man has proven his worth. I see the passion and heart in him like I saw in Waqqar Younis during his early days. :jhanda:

Oh and this: Shoaib Akhtar who?
