I think what brahmachari is saying is that a Pak win against SA and NZ loss against Eng will bring three teams to 2 points each. Currently Pak’s run-rate is higher but lets say SA scores 145 in 17.3 overs while Pak chases that score in 20 overs then our run-rate will drop. So Pak will have to keep its run-rate higher than SA when chasing in case SA get all out before 20 overs otherwise it will be between SA and NZ run-rate.

If a team gets bowled out without using up their full quota of 20 overs - say for 150 in 15 overs, their RR is not 150/15 = 10 but 150/20 = 7.5
