Finally I’m soo excited to share with ya all that my Lengha colors for Baraat and Walima…both days have been finalized!!
The colors itself sound so exquisite :D…I’m having a hard time imagining them…
I just love Taufiq’s (Taufiq Hussain) color combos…So here’s what he just told me…
For Baraat he is going to do Watermelon color with Rust Orangey combo
It’s going to a soft jammawaar material…probably a mermaid style…
and for Walima he finalized…Aquamarine with Terracotta pink on a chiffon jammawaar…a layered lengha…
I can’t wait until he sends me the complete, design and color sketches…
It all sounds so exciting
Finally the ball is rolling now…
What do you guys say…It’s hard visualize at this point because all i know is colors…

girl u are sooo lucky! im sure the outfits will be stunning. i think watermelon red is a great idea...desis should do more corals.
aaahahahah that's what Taufiq was saying...especially since it is a summer wedding...he wants to use fresh hues so that they compliment the season and my skin tone....he said these colors would look great with soft make-up tones...nothing too strong....
Mehndi is pale green…and power blue… and a hint of cream yellow… It’s a shirt with gown kindda thingy on top with capris…kindda colors in HSY’s sari here in this picture…
