What is the best TV out there these days? My BIL is looking into buying a TV and liked samsung 8000 series 65 inch LED that has tons of apps and a camera for control and skype.
Any suggestions?

I have heard that Samsung is the best of the best out there.....I saw LG tv, its pretty good.

hmm, when we went for shopping for TV last thanksgiving holidays samssung tvs were on sale...but i like LG better.

Duuuuuuuuude, agree with same. Agree with @same, LG TVs are pretty good. Hardware can be debatable but LG has started to use Web OS in their televisions and it;s pretty neat.

Whats the benefit of web OS in the TV? Didnt it fail with HP tablets?

It may have failed but it’s a pretty good OS on it’s own.

We just bought the Samsung 55" LED Smart TV 6200 and it is amazing!!! My husband researched it to death and we feel that Samsung is hands above anything else right now. The picture quality is unreal!

We bought samsung 50" last year. Now we are looking for 55 or 65". We just sold our LG.
Samsung best of all but LG is G8 as well but picture quality less than Samsung. We had LG and Samsung next to each other and compared picture quality.
