Bought a Samsung 55 3D smart LED 7 series a few years and since then we dont watch youtube on laptops! TV is going fine. its perfect in HD.
Active shutter 3D may be little hassle with glasses battery running out every other week, so LG has advantage of using normal passive 3D that use battery less glasses.

So bought a LG LED 50 inch for Pakistan use and it also has browser and other gadgets mostly because its new than Samsung i have.

Bought Samsung 65 inches LED smart TV. Very happy with the results.

I would suggest you all to stay away from 4K, 3D, curved display kind of gimmicks. Only useful tech I see is 4k, but lack of content will leave you with mostly watching 1080 shows which will appear grainy on a 4k TV.

I just bought 32" LED smart VIZIO TV for my mom's bedroom but honestly i'm disappointed with the results. The picture quality is really not that good, if not aweful.
I've Samsung too and its really good.
Btw, I was discussing this with my bhabi the other day, which one is better, SONY or samsung?

^Vizio sucks , we bought and returned the same day last year. We have LG and its grt.

Sid, when you balance out the price vs performance, I believe that Samsung is a better deal than Sony.

For your mom's TV, I suggest that buy a soundbar. Sucky picture does not look that sucky, if at least the audio is good. My mom has Haier 32 inch720p LCD in her room, which is surprisingly has quite a good quality picture. I attached a soundbar for a nicer sound, and my mom is loving it

Ok what soundbar suppose to do. i got free with tv. it doesn't give sound with some videos when played on youtube, so then i have to turn off soundbar everytime and switch on speaker sound which is soo annyoed so its off now. awain laga howa hai

This is interesting. Is it a wireless soundbar or hard wired to your TV. Could you share how your TV is connected to the bar?

Soundbar is to get a surround sound experience without having too many speakers and wires all over the room

Could you share the schematic? Which outlet of your TV is connected to which inlet of soundbar?
