u know i witnessed this thing by my own eyes my bil went to his mom (when she criticized my sis on someting very petty but she got upset) n said clearly that its my wife n i'll tell her how to live n wat to do or not do n u should never do that again.it was blunt n felt rude at the time but honestly she found respect in the family plus they never interferred or put any sort of restrictions on her.
with me its the resverse my hubby follows parents blindly never takes stand for me no matter how unjust they r but forces me to please them at all costs n still i never got the respect i deserve from either parties.u respect ur mom coz she gav birth to u wat abt the woman that gives birth to ur kids isn't she a mom too?
