Leaked emails from two former prosecutors claim the military commissions set up to try detainees at Guantanamo Bay are rigged, fraudulent, and thin on evidence against the accused.

Iraq’s Child Prisoners

A Sunday Herald investigation has discovered that coalition forces are holding more than 100 children in jails such as Abu Ghraib. Witnesses claim that the detainees – some as young as 10 – are also being subjected to rape and torture.
It was early last October that Kasim Mehaddi Hilas says he witnessed the rape of a boy prisoner aged about 15 in the notorious Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. “The kid was hurting very bad and they covered all the doors with sheets,” he said in a statement given to investigators probing prisoner abuse in Abu Ghraib. “Then, when I heard the screaming I climbed the door … and I saw [the soldier’s name is deleted] who was wearing a military uniform.” Hilas, who was himself threatened with being sexually assaulted in Abu Graib, then describes in horrific detail how the soldier raped “the little kid”.

Methinks you must have a bunch of stock anti-American thread replies sitting in the can just waiting to post regardless of the topic. Most deal with rape and rigging elections.
If you bothered to even read the article that was posted, it dealt with allegations of rigged ** trials **. It has nothing to do with rigged ** elections. ** Maybe you’re still stumped with finding proof that Bermuda is a US slave colony.

Rather you concentrate on my posts. Rather obsessive aren't you? No comment on the raped children? Or is raping children ok since you said it is ok to kill them.

Really? This is a typo: you type “eletcion” instead of “election.”
This is not a typo: you type “election” instead of “trial.”
See the difference? The latter is just an effing error, mistake, product of a faulty mind, etc.
If you want to talk about raping children, open a thread on it and I’ll see if it’s worthy of my response. Raping children doesn’t belong in a thread dealing with accusations of rigging trials. As to the matters relevant to this thread, there’s nothing to debate.

CM is bubbling with love for the raped children in Iraq. But he ignores the rape of “camel children” used as jockeys in Arrabob countries. We just got 100+ children back at Lahore airport. Will the real CM stand up and worry about Pak Children? No unless he can get to blame Amreeka for it.

This happened in Darfur, from which Sudanese military personnel actually airlifted women to Khartoum to serve as sex slaves.
Meanwhile, Indira Dzetskelova, the mother of one of the child hostages in Beslan, Russia, reports that “several 15-year-old girls were raped by terrorists.” Her daughter “heard their terrible cries and screams when those monsters took them away.”
This indicates that there are two things the massacre in Beslan have in common with the ongoing massacres in Darfur: both, no less than the 9/11 attacks, are examples of Islamic jihad terrorism, and both are characterized by rape.

So that they are free to become the concubines of their captors. The Qur’an permits Muslim men to have intercourse with their wives and their slave girls: “Forbidden to you are … married women, except those whom you own as slaves” (Sura 4:23-24).

Any rape that occurs in Abu Ghraib or elsewhere is disgusting and reprehensible. Worse is when rape is condoned and systemic and is justified based upon religious doctrine. Condemn your heroic jihadis and maybe your tears might be viewed as more than crocodile ones.

Sorry, PA, but sometimes stories overlap between various forums. You want to talk about rape, then let’s talk about systemic condoned rape and compare it in degree of heinousness with the non-systemic act of some depraved soldier. When the rape is justified and inspired by manmade translations of Quranic verses by psuedo religious scholars, the number of victims exponentially increases. When an American soldier rapes someone in some part of the world, it is generally the individual act of a depraved mind. When the Islamic jihadi soldiers do it, it is a tenet of their faith.
You and others of similar ilk try to generalize the act of an individual to an entire society when it fits your preconceived hate-filled Anti-American notions. When the systemic acts of your brothers and sisters is brought before you, you close your eyes, turn your backs and pretend it doesn’t exist. Does generalizing the act of some depraved American soldier let you sleep better at night for ignoring your own sins?
