Jesus: “Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” (Matt. 7:5)
me thinks you suffer from the dreaded ‘If-Muslims-are-doing-it-their-religion-must-be-telling-them-to-do-so’ syndrome… read Normal Daniels’ Islam and the West for a cure… Synopsis: This classic study explores the political and religious considerations behind distorted Western views of Islam, examining Christian-Muslim interaction from medieval times to the modern world
No I’m not doing the same. Did you bother to read what I wrote? Did you bother to read the cited reference? When rape is deemed to be authorized and condoned through religious scripture by a relatively large segment of Islamo-fascists, you’ve got a systemic problem. If the Abu Ghraib Training Manual were being read and interpreted by US military officers to authorize and condone the rape of Iraqi prisoners, the situation would also be systemic. I don’t think that any US Military Training Manual says that prisoners upon capture become slaves of the US soldiers and that it becomes OK to force intercourse upon them.
More is the pity that you seem to have no conception of how these situations are different. Indeed, you don’t even acknowledge the systemic problem that exists within the Islamic jihadi mindset.
Thanks for the reading referral but I’m not interested in Christian-Muslim interaction during medieval times. I’m primarily interested in Muslim interaction with the rest of the world today. And in case after case there seems to be a real problem with many Muslims learning how to live peacefully with others in a modern world.
It is??? Well then tell me Ma how come not a single post after the first one has a single thing to do with Gitmo and allegedly rigged trials??? This thread was diverted by GupPuppy and CM to talk about rape after the first post. If they’re going to talk about rape, then it’s pretty pointless for me to confine myself to talking about allegedly rigged trials.
"Look they are torturing us in Guantanamo. (or wherever)"
It doesn't matter. Muslims are now brainwashed enough to believe these things no matter how dubious the author. What I find amazing is that some guy was claiming he had been tortured in Morocco. Now if I was the reporter interviewing the guy, I would say, "Show me the scar!" Lets publish the scar pictures. No dice. No indication whatsoever that the reporter has any proof whatsoever that the allegations are true.
Muslims will believe any of this crap, they turn off all scepticism when it comes to these stories. Brains just switch off, because it is effective propaganda and they WANT to believe it to justify thier hate. Oh well.

WASHINGTON – A third U.S. military prosecutor has left the Guantanamo commissions process established to try alleged terrorists and enemy combatants.
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported that Air Force Capt. Carrie Wolf, citing issues of fairness, put in for reassignment, following colleagues Maj. Robert Preston and Capt. John Carr. Wolf along with Preston and Carr requested transfers because they believed the process was “rigged” and pursuing “marginal” cases.
