Well, I think he can still turn the table. Musharraf should know Pakistani style of ruling, a ruling that Pakistani loves, and that is what Musharraf should follow too :).
Musharraf should make MSF = Musharraf security force … similar to Bhutto’s FSF. Their job should be to silence any opponents of Musharraf. Opponents should be bribed, if they do not understand than arrest and torture them, if they do not understand than their family should get tortured too, and even than if they do not understand than make them disappear forever. More MSF would terrorise Musharraf opponents, more popular Musharraf would become, as Pakistanis love people with danda more than people showing softness.
This is the type of rule best suited for Pakistanis, and believe me this is the way all past rulers, that include Ayub, Yahya, Bhutto, Zia, BeNazir and Nawaz ruled. Especially Bhutto and Zia, and that is why we have staunch supporters of Bhutto and Zia in Pakistan, because they both ruled according to Pakistani Psyche, that is give the opponents hard kick or get them disappear.
Believe me, security force along with learning to sleep with 4 groups I mentioned above, needed to govern Pakistan Pakistani way, if followed, in few months time, all would get quite like quietness one find in grave yard. Then after some time you will see millions amongst corrupts, politicians, students, lawyers, teachers and labourers, would start showing their love and respect for Musharraf. Musharraf would become hero for those who consider him villain today.:D
Where done with the "pakistani" style of running a country.. Thanks to you so called Pakistani way of running a country, we lost half the country in 1971, and are now at a stage that we are at presently...
To think that this "Pakistani" style of running a country is going to work screams of someone who is either completely out of the loop or a someone with sado-masochist tendancies... Which one are you?
