Well, one always misses such thread, isn't it.

And the man is stupid, he pushed CJ lawyers in the court room and was warned by Justice Ramday. Even his fellow counsel the current attorney general remarked about him, "he is our moula jat"

I do remember lot of things what you written about people that you do not agree with. Does chitrol ring a bell?

Well it was one person.

And mob is NOT the issue.
The issue is that the whole thread is just about scoring point and not really about rights of an individual, for if it was for the rights of a human beings then killing of lawyers wud have got attention from the people who are criticizing them now.

As for Naeem Bokhari, i just "wrote" that he got a beating. I did not support it.

And focusing on ills of one side and ignoring the crimes of other side, is hypocrisy, what else can i call it. Most people are guilty of it at some time unkowngly may be, but thats what it is.

Munir Malik threated to burn down the Supreme Court if the CJ was not restored. How come none of the anti-govt peoplewant to even approach this fact?

This is akin to suicide bombing for these crazy lawyers. I looked at the video and was shocked to see the policeman standing on the side paralyzed and unable to even apprehend the attacker. It’s like they can’t even think without getting orders from above. What if this Khurshid guy had more violent plans? This guy is a loose cannon, just look at his previous activities.

‘Spraying Kasuri will earn me paradise’

PESHAWAR: Khurshid Ahmad Khan, a Peshawar-based lawyer who sprayed the face of government counsel Ahmad Raza Kasuri black, said on Monday that he felt no remorse for his action and that Raza deserved the ‘humiliation’ he had been meted out.

“I consider it to be one of the greatest achievements of my life, which, I hope, will earn me paradise,” the lawyer told Daily Times by phone from Islamabad. He added, “I am ready to face the fallouts of my action. I’ve no regrets over it, for my conscience is satisfied.”

Khurshid sprayed black colour on the face of Raza Kasuri on the Supreme Court premises when the latter was coming to the court to represent the State in President Musharraf’s dual-office case.

Asked about the reasons for his action, he said: “The lawyers have been tolerating this government sponsored person since a long time but when I heard his derogatory remarks against the lawyers’ community during a debate on a private channel, I could not stop myself from teaching him a lesson. Alhamdollilah I’ve done it.”

The enraged lawyer was talking about the ‘Great Debate’ programme on Geo television, in which Kasuri had alleged that the lawyers’ movement was a foreign-funded campaign. Khurshid Khan said that the lawyers respected other colleagues defending the State case, like Syed Sharifuddin Pirzada and Malik Muhammad Qayyum, “but this man had trampled all boundaries of ethics.”

He said Kasuri even did not desist from giving Barrister Aitizaz Ahsan life threats in front of the Supreme Court when the latter was appointed as amicus curie to assist the court in the dual-office case.

“Kasuri had threatened Barrister Aitizaz during a hearing in the Supreme Court to avoid arguing with him, saying that he had even got the founding chairman of the PPP hanged,” he said.

A five-judge bench of the Lahore High Court, presided over by Chief Justice Maulvi Mushtaq Husain, tried Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for the murder of the father of Ahmed Raza Kasuri and sentenced him to death. An appeal was heard in the Supreme Court by a bench presided over by then Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwarul Haq, but was dismissed by a split verdict of four to three.

Referring to the allegations of Kasuri that the bid was aimed at turning him blind, he said: “It’s ridiculous, the liquid did not contain any kind of acid that could destroy his eyesight. It is simple a liquid colour,” he said.

Khurshid is known in his community for his emotional nature, who once shot fired shot at his arm during a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club. In the 2002 general elections, he filed nomination papers as independent candidate from NA-1, Peshawar after the Pakistan People’s Party refused to issue him party ticket and he had to make seat adjustment with the Awami National Party (ANP). Later, the PPP agreed on seat adjustment with the ANP and asked Khurshid to withdraw his nomination papers.

He complied with the directives of the party leadership and announced during a press conference his withdrawal, while injuring himself by firing a shot in his arm saying that he could even shed his blood for the late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. During the lawyers’ movement in Lahore a few months ago, Khurshid entered the Lahore High Court chief justice’s courtroom and exchanged hot words with him in an open court. The LHC chief justice later asked naib of court to force him out of the court premises.

What a shameful act, this guy should be locked up and taken to some serious visit to drawing room. Gaining paradise by throwing paint on someone? I bet he also supports throwing acid on veil-less women.

It was not a good thing to do - but what a shameful language was used by this asshole Kasuri the other days whereas, the other party had calmly bore his insults.. Kasuri should actually be put on khota with chitar garland and paraded all over Pakistan..

The fact is that the lawyers are being persecuted, harassed, killed for doing what is their right. In such an environment if on a couple of occasions they have faltered it is understanble, though ideally it shud not happen. But when there is no justice in society such things happen.
