ISLAMABAD: The hearing of the constitutional petitions, filed in the Supreme Court challenging the dual office of the President, was underway here under stringent security arrangements especially, made by the authorities for the occasion, which however was seen blatantly breached by a lawyer, when he managed to pour black paint on the face of the government’s senior lawyer Ahmad Raza Kasuri.
Supreme Court’s nine-member Bench, after a three-day break resumed here, the hearing of the constitutional petitions against President Musharraf’s two offices.
Pakistan Lawyers Forum’s Abdullah Khan Dogar will carry on his arguments and later after 11.00 A. M., Communist Party of Pakistan’s Central Chairman, Engineer Jamil Ahmad Malik will also argue on behalf of his party.
The SC Bench comprises of Justice Rana Bhagwan Das, Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan, Justice Nawaz Abbasi, Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar, Justice Falak Sher, Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan and Justice M. Javed Buttar.
Prior to the hearing, when the government’s lawyer Ahmad Raza Kasuri alighted from his car outside the entrance of the Supreme Court, a lawyer nearby poured black paint on his (Kasuri) face. The said lawyer is leant to be Muhammad Khurshid Khan, an Assistant Advocate General of NWFP

What does the law say about one citizen assaulting or attempting to assault another citizen?
Let facts such as it was done against a pro-govt lawyer/politician, that it was done in broad daylight, captured by cameras, aired on satellite tv, done within the premises of the Supreme Court the Premier authority on providing justice equally to all, that the security personnel stood watching, be counted later.

Munir A Malik threatened to burn down the Supreme Court if the CJ was not restored, and he got away with that. What is blackening somebody's face with black paint compared to that?

I read the poem by faiz and understand its meaning and am thus saying that it fits the politicians of our country as well as their paid lawyer mobs very well.
