Good news for all the Hrithik-Kareena fans. The once upon a time hit jodi will soon be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s next, almost after a gap of ten years. Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor were last seen together in Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon.
Hrithik and Kareena were considered to be one of the hottest on screen couples in the early 2000′s. Their jodi came to fame after Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001).
In an interview few years ago, Kareena Kapoor mentioned that she and Hrithik make a fabulous pair and that she hopes for a good script to come their way.
Zoya Akhtar of ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ fame, has big plans for Bebo and Hrithik and is very keen on rekindling their on screen romance. If reports are to be believed, Zoya might also sign Ranbir Kapoor in the same flick, opposite Katrina Kaif. WAOW! what a star cast!!!
Ranbir will plays Kareena’s brother, in the film, while Katrina will be Ranbir’s love interest.
If all goes well, the shooting of the film might begin only by the end of the year, as the stars of her film are currently busy with other projects.

Priyanka Chopra and south star Ram Charan Teja have been paired for the first time in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming remake film Zanjeer. Their on screen chemistry has already become the talk of the industry. The filmmaker says, the couple and their chemistry is refreshing.
“The chemistry of Priyanka and Ram Charan Teja is looking 2,000 times better than what I had expected. They both are looking surprisingly refreshing onscreen,” Lakhia told IANS.
Zanjeer is the remake of the 1973 film of the same name.
The entire team was here in Hyderabad for the film’s second schedule.
Lakhia said: “It was superb shooting in Hyderabad. We finished the second schedule at a stretch. The film has shaped up very well… that’s all I can say as a director.”
The remake is produced by Reliance Entertainment, Amit Mehra and Flying Turtle Films, and will release on April 12, 2013.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt’s look as Sher Khan, originally played by Pran, has been revealed and has also become the talk of the industry. It is heard that the actor will also sports a scar on his face to look a little grungy. “He will also wear soorma in his eyes. We have tried to keep his look extremely authentic, and have refrained from going overboard with his hairstyle or beard,” says Aalim, popular hairstylist.

Promoting movies on the small screen is unavoidable for any movie before its release. More so, when it involves a show like Big Boss, one can’t ignore. So, Anushka Sharma and Imran Khan, the leads of Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola had to follow suit and so landed in the sets of Big Boss.
On Friday evening, the couple visited the show. While Imran seemed very comfortable in the presence of Salman, Anushka seemed visibly uncomfortable all the same. And we hear from a birdie that the reason for this uneasiness is Anushka’s closeness to Salman’s arch rival Shahrukh Khan.
According to a source, “Anushka made her debut with Shah Rukh Khan and was also recently seen in Jab Tak Hai Jaan which again had SRK as her co-star. She might not have chosen to get in to any camps but the industry has clearly branded her as someone close to SRK. So, it was definitely awkward for her to promote the film at Salman’s show. On the other hand, Imran is on very good terms with Salman and the feeling is very much mutual.”
“During a recent awards ceremony, it was quite evident that Anushka was not very comfortable around Salman. In fact, when her dear co-star Imran, from whom she has been pretty much inseperable these days, was speaking to Salman backstage, Anushka chose to make herself scarce. Salman and she didn’t even acknowledge each other’s presence; even Imran chose not to introduce her to Salman. Moreover, when rumours of her being in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick opposite Salman surfaced, she has chosen to deny them saying that she was never approached,” revealed another source.
Since both the actors are professionals, there is no doubt that the shoot must have gone without any problems. But, we wonder what must have happened behind the sets!

The world of films is very competitive. No doubt about that. But the ad world is not far behind. And in most cases both are linked. Actors crave for bigger brands as it is an easy way to earn more bucks.
Looks like Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone’s rivalry has moved from Bollywood to the ad world. There is a buzz that Anushka Sharma is unhappy with Deepika Padukone for snapping away her endorsements.
It is being reported that Anushka has lashed down her price to get back the deal which she lost to Deepika.
Anushka Sharma is supposedly upset with these rumours and has dismissed them as false allegations. She said that she is from a disciplined bringing up and also claimed that it is the media which creates these misunderstandings between people.
Anushka Sharma said, “There is absolutely no catfight. People just try and drag you into issues. It’s not my problem that people try to pick actresses at random and create wars between them. I have nothing against anybody.”
“It shows poorly on my upbringing. I don’t fight with other girls over things and I don’t need to do that either. I remain dignified about the way I carry myself, “added Anushka saying she is “too dignified” about her professional work.
The actress also said that she finds it very cheap to announce the number of brands she endorsdes . “I find it very cheap to be saying I have X number of ads. I don’t need to slash my price. Period,” she said.

The recent week was buzzing with rumours that Nargis Fakhri and Uday Chopra would be tying the knot. But things have now become clearer as the lady concerned, Nargis, has cleared the air.
She wrote on Twitter, “Happily single n totally into my work. I’m not getting married anytime soon to anyone. Who started this rumor? Check ur facts first. Geez.”
The report which claimed that Uday and Nargis had been dating for an year also said that the wedding was scheduled for March this year. The report did not end there and also continued to mention that Uday’s mother Pamela liked her son’s choice and met with Nargis’s mother to discuss about the wedding. It was also being said that the couple planned to get married much earlier. But, the sudden demise of Yash Chopra, who happens to be Uday’s father, supposedly made them postpone the plans.
Nargis Fakhri is currently working on Madras Café, a political thriller directed by Shoojit Sircar. The film also stars John Abraham in the male lead and the film deals with the subject of terrorism. The movie will be shot in Sri Lanka, South India and Delhi.
Fakhri rose to fame with her debut film, Rockstar, opposite Ranbir Kapoor directed by Imtiaz Ali.

Dabboo Ratnani’s 2013 calender will see two new Bollywood faces. The ace photographer recently did a photo shoot with newbies, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan of Student Of The Year fame and says he has a long association with both the actors.
“I have shot with Varun and Alia, they are the two new faces (in the calendar for this year),” Ratnani said at a pre-launch event for the calendar.
“I recently did a first photo shoot with Varun for a magazine and he was brilliant in the pictures. It didn’t feel like I was shooting with him for the first time, it was like a connection from the first shoot itself. Then we thought of introducing him in the calendar,” he added.
Every year since the past 14 years, Ratnani has been creating a special celebrity calendar annually.
Recalling his association with Varun Dhawan, Ratnani says, “I shot with Varun for Stardust and actually there is a long story with Varun. The first time I met with Varun he was threee days old. David used to stay in my building and Rohit (Varun’s brother) and Varun both were born in front of me,” he said.
Varun Dhawan is the son of filmmaker David Dhawan.
Taking about his history with Alia Bhatt, Ratnani said, “With Alia, I shot for a look test for Karan Johar’s film and with her also, I go a long way back. Pooja (Bhatt) and me have been shooting together since I was an assistant. So there is a connection with both Varun and Alia and both of them made beautiful pictures,” he added.

There had been rumours doing the rounds that Karan Johar is planning a movie with his Student of The Year star Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra. For all the people who heard this news, let us confirm to you that it is 100% true!
It has been confirmed that Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap are going to co-produce Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra’s next – Hasee Toh Phasee.
Karan Johar released the first look on twitter and wrote,”The title of the Dharma-Phantom film with @S1dharthM and @ParineetiChopra is Hasee toh Phasee!!!….#haseetohphasee”. It is heard that ad-film director, Vinil Matthew is going to turn director with this flick. It is heard that he was the man behind the film’s concept and will be the one to execute it.
Hasee Toh Phasee is going to be co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Phantom Productions which is a joint venture by Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Madhu Mantena and Vikramaditya Motwane.
Anurag Kashyap feels that the fresh pairing of Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra will be something to look forward to. He said,“The story works with fresh faces, but requires a high level of chemistry and maturity in the performances. After spending months, shortlisting various actors, we finalised Sidharth and Parineeti.”
This will be Siddharth’s second film after Student of The Year which released in 2012 while Parineeti Chopra is two films old with her last flick being Ishaqzadee. Let us hope this is going to be a great combination!

Once upon a time, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif were regarded as one of the best pairs on screen. The duo were last seen together in Tees Maar Khan, which failed to impress, but still their jodi can really attract huge crowds. Reportedly, Akshay and Katrina are gearing up for the remake of the South film Ramana. The film will be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who has been in talks with the makers of Ramana for quite some time now. Apparently, things have finally worked out and South film director M Raja is set to direct the Hindi version.
A source said: “The initial talks are already done and the project is expected to go on floors by the end of the year. Shabina Khan (co-producer) and Akshay were keen that the film should have Katrina once again as their fans would love to see them getting back together on the big screen.”
Akshay and Katrina are keen on working together again as Katrina Kaif loves working with Akki. It’s been three years since they have come together but insiders revealed that the duo can’t wait to start shooting for the film. It’s all reported that both the actors always keep in touch, no matter how busy they are.

Sonam Kapoor and Punit Malhotra are no longer an item. The duo parted ways as they felt their relationship had come to a dead end and that both were unhappy with the way their relationship was moving.
“Sonam pulled the plug on the relationship. She felt they had outgrown it and it made no sense fighting to keep the relationship alive. This time it’s officially over.” an insider told.
Apparently, Sonam is already over Punit and feels that there trying to mend fences between the two is useless.
“Tongues started wagging at producer Ronnie Screwvala’s bash for newly-weds Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur. Sonam who was present for the party avoided Punit like the plague. Both of them preferred to be in separate corners throughout the evening.” the source added.
Sonam Kapoor started to take liking towards Punit when she started shooting for I Hate Luv Storys. It was then when love blossomed between the two, when the crew shifted to New Zealand to shoot some portions.
A source is quoted as saying, “It was Sonam who decided to call it off. There had been constant buzz that the two had parted ways on and off. But this time it is for real and they have broken off.”

Kareena Kapoor who had turned pure vegetarian for Shahid Kapoor (when they were dating), is now getting back to her old food habits. The actress has reportedly turned into a non-veggie for her hubby Saif Ali Khan.
Mom-in-law Sharmila Tagore revealed in a telly interview that Kareena Kapoor has now started eating fish. Sharmila also revealed that it was getting tough for her to cook veggie dishes as she isn’t very good at it. However, now that Bebo has started eating fish, Sharmila doesn’t mind cooking some Bengali-style fish curry for her.
Kareena’s vegetarianism was for lifetime. She wanted to stick to it lifelong. However, things are not the same after marriage to Saif. Apparently, Bebo’s family was disappointed with her choice of becoming a vegetarian. Being a typical Punjabi, the Kapoors swear by tandoori chicken. Saif’s family prefers non-vegetarian food.
Meanwhile, kareena is presently sitting idle with no work in hand. Reportedly, Bebo had finalized dates for Prakash Jha’s upcoming movie Satyagraha with Ajay Devgn, which was to go on floors this January. However, since Ajay Devgn is currently filming for Himmatwala, which got delayed because of the controversy surrounding Son Of Sardar, Satyagraha will get deferred. This means Bebo’s dates are definitely being wasted.

The sparkling Indian diva Juhi Chawla who is nowadays in Pakistan, did the shopping in Karachi wearing a full covering burqa.
Bollywood filmstar Juhi Chawla has come to Pakistan with husband Jai Mehta to see some of her close relatives in Karachi. There she also attended a wedding ceremony where many of her fans gathered to have her glimpse. She also talked to the guests present at the wedding and expressed her love for Pakistani culture and its similarities with Indian culture. She also said that she wanted artists of both India and Pakistan work together for the prosperity of film industry.
Juhi Chawla also did shopping at Clifton and Tariq Road but was clad in burqa to avoid being recognized there.

Anushka Sharma is doing everything possible to avoid crossing path with Ranveer Singh. At a recent award function, it was very evident that Ms Sharma was trying hard to maintain her distance from Ranveer.
Going by a popular a tabloid report, “Anushka made sure she was nowhere to be seen when Ranveer arrived at the party.”
Both, Anushka and Ranveer arrived at the same time. However, Anushka on seeing Ranveer’s car, decided to stay back till he left and walked out of the car only once she was sure Ranveer finished interacting with the media and entered the event area.
The party also saw Deepika Padukone, who is Ranveer’s Ram Leela co-star and also a good friend now. Says a source, “Anushka maintained a safe distance from Ranveer throughout. Considering that Deepika Padukone, who has been linked to him lately, was also there she made sure there were no awkward bump-ins.”
If rumors are to be believed, it was Ranveer Singh who called the affair quits.
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma will soon start filming for Rajukumar Hirani`s ‘Peekay’, which will go on floors from February.
