Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor are the latest hotties to join the Bollywood catfight club. Reason: their recently released flick, Talaash.
Reportedly, cold vibes between Rani and Bebo were pretty much visible during the filmâs promotions in Delhi. And if buzz is to e believed, Aamir Khan played the role of a mediator, between both of them.
Says an industry insider, âThere were cold vibes between them while promoting the film in Delhi. Aamir (Khan), who was there too, played the mediator.â
If sources are to be believed, Rani and Kareenaâs friendship soured after the filmâs reviews came out. Says the source, âThough Kareena had the bigger role in the film, Raniâs acting garnered more appreciation. That could be one of the reasons for this.â
Even at the Talaash success party, Rani walked in the venue only after Kareena left, somewhere around 11.30 PM.
However, Rani Mukherjeeâs spokesperson says, *âWe donât know where these stories originate from.
The people who were there during the filming and the promotional interviews are aware of the love and respect Rani and Kareena have for each other. Both have met socially over the last 10 years, since their first film, Mujhse Dosti Karoge! (2002).â*
Kareena, however remained unavailable for a comment.

Emraan Hashmi and And Huma Qureshi are gearing up for their release Ek Thi Daayan. Directed by newcomer Kannan Iyer, the movie is a spooky thriller. The dialogues of the movie have been written by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Vishal and Ekta Kapoor. Now, there is a sensuous romantic number to be shot between Emraan and Huma, and Vishal has specially stepped in to direct the song.
A source said: âVishal is not the interfering kind normally but he believes that this is one of the best romantic compositions of his and he wants it to be shot impeccably.â
âThe track has been rendered by Clinton Cerejo and written by Gulzar saab and Emraan and Huma are expected to lip-lock in the track.â
Director Kannan Iyer confirms the news saying, âVishal understands the nuances of his composition better than anyone else so it will be great to have him choreograph this song.â
Ek Thi Daayan is Emraan Hashmiâs next release after his consecutive hits Raaz 3 and Jannat 2. Ek Thi Daayan, a spooky thriller, also stars Huma Qureshi, Konkona Sensharma and Kalki Koechlin. It releases worldwide on April 18.

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has been roped in by Salman Khan, as the brand ambassador for brother Sohail Khanâs Mumbai cricket team for Celebrity Cricket League.
If rumors are to be believed, both the Bollywood stars were not in good terms until last year.
A source said, âIt is a known fact that Salman and John Abraham were not exactly on the best of terms. No one knows what irked Salman but rumours suggest that they had issues during a world tour that they did many years back. Since Bipasha was dating John around that time, she was automatically blacklisted from the Salman Khan camp.â
However, last year, Bipasha was seen partying with Salman and his gang during an overseas party. This indicated that John was the main reason for a fall out between Bips and Sallu.
A source reveal that Bips is one who extended the hand for friendship and Salman could not help but grab it!
âThe olive branch extended by Bipasha has not gone unnoticed by Salman,â adds the source.
Salman Khan is a man with a golden heart. He is one actor in Bollywood who is known to introduce or recommend his close friends and allies in the industry. The source said, âIt is all the more surprising as Bipasha has picked ahead of Salmanâs favourite women Kangana Ranaut, Sonakshi Sinha and Zarine Khan.â
It is also heard that Bips will launch her latest fitness DVD on Salman Khanâs reality show Bigg Boss. She will also share fitness tips with the housemates.

Wait! Not only the best but also the worst will be receiving the awards. Yes! The Golden Kela Awards, which recognises the best of the worst in Hindi cinema, is the Indian version of the Golden Raspberry Awards. This year will mark the 5th edition of the awards. The winners are decided by audience vote.
Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khanâs much hyped films Dabangg 2 and Jab Tak Hai Jaan will be competing for the worst film trophy.
The other films that will be nominated in the same category include Housefull 2, Son of Sardaar, Khiladi 786 and Joker.
Akshay Kumar comes on top in the worst actor (male) category with his four releases â Housefull 2, R**owdy Rathore, Joker and Khiladi 786.
Ajay Devgn is also a part of this list with two nominations for Son of Sardaar and Bol Bachchan, Imran Khan for Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Sanjay Dutt for his villainous role in Agneepath and Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan for their debut Student Of The Year.

Salman Khan who is veryy happy after the superb success of Dabangg 2 finally reveals why he hasnât gotten married and when he plans on tying the knot. Recently the Dabangg dude made a special appearance on the TV show Aap Ki Adalat. On the show, he said: *âI will think about marrying only after the courts give their verdicts. If the verdicts go against me, I will marry only after coming out of jail.â *
In fact, Salman Khan has been summoned by a magistrate court in Mumbai to appear before it on December 27 in the hit-and-run case. Incidentally, Dec 27 is also the actorâs birthday.
While talking about all his cases and when he will consider getting married, Salman told interviewer Rajat Sharma in an angry tone: *âI hope to be acquitted in both cases, but if I marry before the verdicts, will it be fair? Suppose, if there is a turn of events and I am sent to jail, and my wife has to come with our child to meet me in jail. Will it be fair?â *
For years there have been calls from various quarters for Salman Khan to get married. His good friend Aamir Khan has been making repeated calls, quite publicly at that, for Salman to marry. Salman is not dating anyone after his breakup with Katrina Kaif.

At a recent Christmas bash hosted by the industrialist Sunny Dewan and his wife Anu, Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan stuck together throughout the party.
It is heard that, as soon as Sallu entered the party, he put his beefy arm around AB Jrâs shoulders and together they made their way to a quiet corner. Guests were surprised to see Abhishek and Salman immersed in a friendly chat. Well, we wonder what was Aishwarya Raiâs reaction? Only on few occasions do we see Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai under one roof.
Reports a Mumbai tabloid, âLate into the party, when most of the guests were glowing happily (thanks to the free flowing alcohol and continental spread), Abhishek and Salman officially put an end to all the tension between, some real and others perceived.â
The tabloid quotes an eye-witness: âSalman came in around 2.30 am, much after his best friend Sajid Nadiadwala had left the venue. In a flash, he put an arm around Abhishek and the two walked into a corner to chat.â
One question arises, all this time when hubby Abhi was away from Ash, where was Aishwarya? Well, the actress was busy bonding with other guests, choosing to leave the two friends alone.

Ranveer Singh, one Bollywood actor who is always bubbling with energy, injured himself while shooting a song for his film Gunday on Thursday afternoon.
The actor injured his face after falling from a height while shooting for a dance sequence. He apparently lost balance and came crashing down. It is heard that Ranveerâs cheek split open because of the sudden fall and so he was rushed to a nearby hospital. He was given a few stitches by the doctor and discharged.
A source told us, âRanveer was performing his steps on an elevated structure, when he lost his balance and fell down. He hurt his back and suffered injuries on his face. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical aid, and the shoot was called off for the day.â
Despite the pain, Ranveer is not ready to alter his film schedule and will continue shooting as before.
Ranveer Singhâs spokesperson confirmed:* âRanveer injured himself slightly while shooting the song sequence whereby his cheek has a small gash and required a few stitches. However, Ranveer is perfectly fine and is continuing with the shoot schedules as per plan.â *
Ranveer jokingly said, âNow I am even more in character for GUNDAY with his inimitable smile.â
Well, this is not the first time that Ranveer was injured on the film sets. Earlier in March, he had got injured while filming Lootera.

So, Nargis Fakhri can finally look forward to something. The actress who made her debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar will now be seen in Shoojit Sircarâs Madras Cafe. Shoojit said that Nargis will surprise everyone with her role in the film.
Sircar said: âNargis suited the role and I can assure you that she is going to surprise everybody with âMadras Cafeâ. She is playing a journalist in the film.â
The film was earlier titled Jaffna.
And also a new jodi will be seen. This time around, Nargis Fakhri will be paired opposite John Abraham.
After Vicky Donor, Shoojit will direct his third movie. He said: âI canât reveal the story, but it was the demand of the script. You will get to know once you see the film. I hope the audiences like this pairing.â
The first schedule of Madras Cafe is over. It has been shot extensively in south India. The second schedule will commence from March and will be shot in Mumbai, south India and abroad.
The director also added that the superstar from Kerala, Mohanlal will also play a cameo in the film.
âWe are in talks with him. There is a very important role in the film for which we need Mohanlal. Now let us see how things fall in place. Nothing has been finalised right now,â he added.
