We get the ronzoni lasagna noodles and just boil em.. ammi cooks beef keema with spinach in tomato sauce.. also we use ricotta cheese and mozzarella.. chips its not so difficult..if u get the packaged lasagna noodles, the recipe is usually posted in th back

well it depends on how active u are.
and this is not to say that you eat tuscan lasgna for breakfast lunch and dinner, gets seconds thirds and fourths in a plate the size of a serving tray.
but if u are going to try it, try it as it is supposed to be, then yeah substitte skim for whole milk, use EVOO instead of butter.

there are several variations including heart healthy versions whic use whole grain flour instead of the reg flour and substitute EVOO for butter. several others exist too. he one I like the most is a mix of tuscan and sicilian when you add arrabiate to a couple of layers. popular in rome

yep the version where premade sauce and premade pasts is used is quick.
if you are making either the pasta or the sauce yourself then it can be a little involved.

I have not made the pasta myself in 10 years, but yeah u can make the pasta yourself, there is no comparison between freshly made pasta versus the dired variety

A few years ago i had it once at an expensive restaurant but was too shy to eat it! I wish i did now! Especially after wasting it...

lol because i didnt want to get sauce all over me!
however if i could turn back the time, i would have not cared about what others thought! in fact, i would have deliberately rubbed tomato sauce on my face if they looked at me!
i have actually forgotten what lasagne looks like! :)

I dont know to be honest, i thought it drips alot and splashes because of the long pasta, and the sauce?

lol! I used to try and eat very posh. The restaurant i was in was very expensive, and people look at you if you are using the right cutlery or not. Now i dont care what anyone thinks, i shall eat how i like to eat! And if rubbing tomato sauce in my face proves a point then so be it! lol

i agree i hate going to very posh places not because i cant afford it just because its tooo formal. i just like to go to mall of the emirates and hit the food court and eat in my style
