How many computers do you have in your house altogether? Are they all in use? Do you prefer laptops or desktops for both personal and office use? (TLK bhai opened a blog like this once and the results were interesting.)
Also, at what age did you get your own computer? (We had a similar thread in AV about mobile phones and the results of that thread were also interesting.)
There’s 4 laptops and 1 desktop in my house, all in use, and I first bought my own lappy when I was 19.

We have two desktops and two laptops at mine… 
I got my first computer in 1997 when I hit my teens and it was a cheap run of the mill thing cant even remember the make.
But since then I worked my way up till I now have a HP Pavilion.

The very first laptop I used in my teens was a gay Dell one. It was so slow and we had dial-up connection I remember.

One desktop for family use, my sis and I have laptops. I got my first computer in 1994, a 486. First laptop in 2004 when I went to university, an HP Pavilion. Let's see what 2014 has in store for me :)

We have one desktop... in the lounge... with the printer and scanner and everything... so not used unless one of the laptop's breaks down. I use my laptop for both personal and school.
Right now we have six laptops - four HPs and two dells. Me and my siblings use the HP's and mom and dad have the dells.
I got my first laptop when I was 18. It was a sony.

I used it (or rather abused it) for 4 years. Trusty old servant, they don’t make laptops as sturdy anymore. I had my latest Dell for hardly 2 months before it had to go back under warranty for screen issues.

3 laptops. Toshiba, Dell and HP. They're all in use.
Used to have a desktop which I got when I was like 11 years old, lol. My cousin built it for me.

^Agree with that, although since laptops started coming with number pads I find working on them just as easy.

My problem is, I end up curling up on the sofa with the laptop. Which fudges the work/procrastination ratio. :(

Ah, so very true.
I wanted to get this for my laptop but it would fudge up my procrastination rate even more, despite it being through the roof already.

One desktop, one laptop. All are used. I like both, don't have any preference. Got laptop on 14th birthday.

ghurbat ki wajah se ek hi laptop.
laptops are easier to use since you can take them anywhere you want. even in the toilet :D
