laptopppppp

Re: laptopppppp

I hate Macbooks, they are so hard to understand. Please stay away from them as for that price you can buy a Core i7 Windows Laptop with 8 Gigs of RAM.

Re: laptopppppp

^ you dont need a core i7 and 8 Gigs of RAM to run Facebook, Macbook Pro's a pretty good at it. :)

guysss i neeed microsoft office :( i only have the windows one. what do i do ?

Re: laptopppppp

Philiosphy, u can get a student discount from MS and get the download for very little $. Let me get information for you. f I get hold of a copy, I’ll find a way to send it to u.Have friends working @MS. Maybe they can get me some discounts.

Meanwhile, download Apache Open Office. It’s a free app and lets u do do a lot of what you can do in MS Office, but of course it doesn’t have every single feature. You can save files with Office extensions also. If I get hold of a copy, I’ll find a way to send it to u.

Re: laptopppppp

toba toba modship or phir chori seena zori.. tsk tsk tsk

philo, it is only retina if it is a 15 incher. You only need MS Office for excel, as there is no other alternative out there that can do what excel can do in libreoffice etc. You should be fine with a free alternative if you were just using word and powerpoint in office before.

Re: laptopppppp

^^ The Open Office is very restricting even for Word and PowerPoint, especially if you're doing detailed tasks. I use it very often and I seriously need a copy of MS Office for my Mac. But to get by, yes, the free apps are just fine.

And oh, I'm no longer a mod. :D

Re: laptopppppp

hehe ew

Re: laptopppppp

Re: laptopppppp

Q1: Should I “quit” all programs befor shutting down or is x’ing out sufficient?

Q2: When i put the computer to sleep (sound like my baby :aq:) can I leave things open or is it better to close everything out?

Q3: DO downloads just clear themselves out?

Q4: and ok, you know how windows was like a COMPUTER..im so confused is there more to this thing or is this it…

Thanks, nerds.
