After a few minutes of switching on my laptop a few keys(space key,n,s,a,c etc) stop working.Can anyone tell me why & wht shud i do to solve the problem .

Maybe its the dirt in the keyboard that’s giving you the issue. Get some canned air and clean out the keyboard.
Also check do the keys work when you press caps or hold shift?

DO what Hadeel said. It could be some gooey material that jams the keys only when the laptop is warm. Clean your laptop keys when it was off for sometime.
Also, see if you can boot in safe mode and the keys work.

use air blower to clean your keyboard. dont use high temperature when blowing.

Mitch They work at times later on…but usually they dont.
Hadeel Pressing shift or caps doesnt help either.
I’ll try cleaning it with canned air or something STA & Exodus…hopefully it works.

You could always sell it, but it depends which brand it is. For example, Macs hold their value but are more expensive than PC configurations to begin with.

If I were you, I’d get a new keyboard off of ebay, that most probably will put you back about $15-$20. Replacing a keyboard is relatively easier compared to replacing the tiny little bubbles on your current one.
Come to think of it, I’d want to clean the strip of the malfunctioning keyboard that attaches to the motherboard prior I went all out searching for a new one. Get someone to help you do that.

Use external Keyboard as Naman said just to rule out that nothing wrong with your laptop otherwise, then buy a new keyboard from ebay for 15-20 as Exodus said.
BTW, you can also remove those keys and make sure that nothing is stuck inside. It could be some juice that someone dropped or something simple.

- Try re-setting the keyboard cable.
- Membrane switches under those keys may need to be replaced. A computer repair shop can fix that.
