Guys whoever is advocating or wishing for a rush in by the forces, its not that simple. There are many things to consider. Everything can't be just termed collteral damage.
1 - There is no definitive indication that they are harming the hostages other than food rationing and unfavorable resident conditions. However this is not something unusual for a situation like that.
2 - The number of of people inside is not certain and it is no small amount as well.
3 - There is no definitive count of armed people inside either.
4 - Most probably until their intel changes with some significant new information the strategy more than likely will not change.
5 - There is not cost benefit analysis for human lives. To say they will loose support is not right, that same weary public support will change into opposition and criticism once the casualties mount.
6 - You cannot just barge in and tell families whose children or women are inside to accept their loss should it happen. Calculating the risk of lives is not confined to those involved in the operation. The families involved need to give assurance that they are also willing to accept casualties that would come their way.
7 - As we have seen our Adbul Aziz Ghazi trying to escape all burqa clad, what prevents the militants inside from disguising themselves also. This poses a great dilemma for the forces, there is not usually enough time to pick and choose who is who. It has be to readily identifiable. If they are disguised this could mean a very ticky situation and high risk to innocent lives.
8 - I think the army will not move in until they considerable intelligence about these factors.

only 1 i.e. at the start of operation
so called claim that tulba are firing with automatic guns etc etc and no one from rangers have been killed ( seems funny)
if this drama would have been reall , we might have 50 to 100 casualities in rangers as they are attacking not defending but it doesn't happen , even we havn't heard any one getting injured (again seems funny)

man it is pathetic that this jerk molvi is not even sending the dead bodies outside… i mean dead bodies among living people…ufff… I really feel bad for the hostages especially kids, it will poor things are already have gone through lot, it will take them long before they get out of this trauma. This whole Lal Mosque could make for an awesome Lollywood movie.
Two young Pakistani brothers, lets call them Imran, the liberal and younger one and Salman the older and conservative one, enlist in the Army. Their unit gets deployed in Waziristan and Imran falls in love with a beautiful Pahtan girl, lets call her Sonya. Imran needs to spend time with Sonya and goes AWOL for a few days while Salman hides his disappearance with the Army.
During a fire fight with the militants, Salman's unit is attacked and he is MIA. Imran when hearing about this is dejected and blames the girl for Salman's supposed death.
Months later, during the Lal Mosque episode. Imran's unit gets deployed around the Lal Mosque. During an attempt to get the Girls and other hostages out. He sees his brother, Salman and Sonya. Imran manages to get Sonya out and she tells him that after you left Waziristan, her parents found Salman as a POW with the tribals and they released him to their custody. When Sonya took care of Salman, they fell in love and got married. Salman also became a militant.
This breaks the heart of Imran. Imran unit is now tasked with the capture of the Lal Mosque. During the battle, both brothers see each other. Both point their guns to each other but both refuse to shoot. Imran lowers his gun but Ghazi shoots Imran, Ghazi calls Imran a kaffir.
This makes Salman realizes that Ghazi is a terrorist and militancy is wrong. Salman then picks up Imran's gun and wipes out all the Militants including Ghazi.
Sonya rushes to Salman and they live happily ever after.

The sad thing is that the ully kay pathay with weapons in the compound are probably all punped up that they have stalled lae enforcement, while govt is only being cautious due to the hostages, otherwise it would have been all over hours ago.
