I think this is one good step taken by Musharraf after a series of stupid actions and i think regardless of our political differences, we must support his hands in this action. If we oppose him, this means we support these bigoted Mullahs and that would be a cardinal sin.
I am staunch opponent of Musharraf's policies because all the time he was appeasing these mullahs and dealt secular forces heavy handidly. I think today is the day to support Musharraf's decision. I am sorry for the rangers soldier and the journalists who came in the line of fire and i think they were needless deaths but not at all sorry for these Mullahs getting bullets in their chests. Neither i am happy at seening these Burqa clad women running around, they also need to be taught a lesson of taking law in their hands

Cheif Justice has been going somewhere all the time for last many months. It will be hard to find something happening lately when CJ was not going somewhere. Do you have any more information that you are not sharing to suggest that it is all drama and that the Lal Masjid terrorists are actually doing all this under goverment control?

Critics will always do that. If the government uses force, they will say use of force is a gross mistake. “Muaamla baat cheet ke zarye hal kiya jana chahiye”. It’s a win-win situation for opposition/critics. I wish there is someone who is also thinking of that poor thing called Pakistan

why hasnt the army been sent in yet? if this is a planned operation its hard to see the rationale behind letting this chaos spread.
BBC is reporting that it is not a planned operation. It all begun when JAMIA HAFZA's female "students" tried to come out in large number (I guess to kidnap and teach lesson to more "kafirs") and Rangers tried to contain them into Jamia Hafza. Rangers fired tear gas and LAL MASJID fanatics thought that operation has begun...

Decent 6Chora if it wasnt a planned operation they should plan one now that things have gone so far. Army should atleast be on the ground with visible hardware to show them what they're up against. the more feeling they have of power the more they will get out of hand.

You want more killings?
People who are getting killed are actually willing to kill innocent people and they have shown that they are capable of doing so. No body wants to get people killed but if govt takes a step back now LAL MASJID fanatics will gain more powers and next time they will not abduct people, they will kill innocent people on the spot.
